does anyone else collect smoking devices?

My girlfriend just told me she picked up two more pipes she couldn't pass up. She called ahead of time and told her to go ahead and that I trust her.

We already have

1.a sherlock in the design of a fish

2. a color changing shroom pipe

3. a color changing small sherlock

4. a small stone pipe

5. a little black glass spoon

6. a cheap plastic bong

and now I'm about to see..

7. a little on the go pipe that she said she had to pick up for novelty value

8. a huge spoon with deep bowl made from that ceramic stuff they make the big heavy ashtrays out of.


I will eventually post pictures prob later tonight.

But there is no practical reason for having this many, we have just seemed to start a collection and I don't see any change in that coming soon.

As soon as we move out of this house and find a decent apartment we are going to invest in a really nice bong.

Anyone else love collecting this shit. I love the glass.

first of all collecting glass is not a crime! i for one FUCKING LOVE GLASS. im sorry, but its a horrible addiction of mine. whats interesting is that you have all these glass pipes and a cheap acrylic bong and thats it! instead of spending 15-40 bucks on a inside out dry piece, spend twice the much on a nice novelty glass or something in the big league (name brand stuff ie:roor, phx, g spot, shiva, pure, ect)

i have the following (all glass of course) and will get picks eventually.

-med. dry piece
-tiny dry sneak-a-toke piece
-med big novelty sherlock
-med HVY(heavy)/"Bad Habit" water pipe w/ (2) bowls & (2) ashcatchers
-small bubbler
-PHX "Duo" beaker bottom w/ (1) bowl & (2) ashcatchers

i had another bowl for the phx but this last weekend i was stoned and of course set the phx down on the ground next to my bed and i didnt see my wallet on the ground that i put it on and of course setting the bong half way on the ground with wallet underneath = top heavy and it fell over, broke my diffuser downstem and bowl! so ill be cashing out for a new stem this weekend LAME...

I can't get a glass bong right now, we currently have frequent visits from parents and don't have to have to hide a nice big glass bong. We are working on moving furhter away though so when we do I will certainly be investing in one. I bought the cheap bong because I just wanted something I could toss out if I had too and wouldn't have to worry about breaking.

Plus I love pipes.

pics of the HVY/Bad Habit w/ the 2 bowls and 2 ashcatchers AND a picture of the PHX duo w/ the bowl i just recently broke. i have 1 other (and the only now) bowl for the PHX thats got some reversals in it and then i have the regular PHX ashcatcher, and a green/blue one that looks just like the same as the PHX one only colorful (same shape though)

....and ill try to have a pic up later this weekend of my phx with the reversal bowl with the green ashcatcher if i remember.

Collections are great I have a few spoons and bubblers but only 1 bubbler works and I don't use my pipes anymore.. I wanna get a new bong soon.
