I pay 110 bucks a month for like 120 channels, plus the movie channels, and on demand.
And I still can't find anything worth watching! What the duece... That price includes the cable internet so don't think I'm paying 110 for just t.v. but still as a customer I expect there to be something decent to watch. Home shopping network isn't even fun to watch right now. They are selling freakin candles...
Ahh... nevermind ESPN hasn't failed me. Thank you.

Hell yeah man. That's exactly why I don't watch t.v. I swear I only watch t.v. like 5 times out of 365 days. If there is a show I wanna watch I'll just download it. Commercial free :D.

Yeah, I pay $99/month just for basic cable (72 channels) and the internet.. this is with Adelphia.
There is never anything on worth watching unless it's on the History, Discovery, or National Geographic channel.. those are my favs. Well, and Adult Swim. :D
Prices are way too high for freaking cable.

I have the 180 Dish network package and only watch maybe 7 or 8 of all of them. I watch the History, Discovery, Science and NGEO along with Comedy Central, Cartoon Network and Boomerang and sometimes I watch the Encore movie channels I have.
I am contemplating a change to Direct TV because the Dish DVR will not record Assy McGee or other of the on the half hour 15 minute shows programmed in advance and TeVo will.
Yes, the selection is rather boring but, what choices do we have?

:p Okay, okay, tell me, are those buds up your nose in your avatar?
I pay $65 a month for digital cable and a cable internet connection. I have about 200 channels, including PPV channels, but to view those, I have to order from my TV for only $4.99 a movie, or $12.99 for nudie/fighting (UFC) movies. I don't bother with porn anymore as it's a waste. I watch for 10-15 minutes and I'm done. I don't care how it ends.
I usually always find something to watch, except Sundays, all day it seems. Nothing but boring crap.
The only shows I really watch are CSI, 70's Shpw, Family Guy and Simpsons. Sometimes I'll wake and bake early Sat. morning, and watch some random cartoon trying to figure out why there is a talking pie and walking stoves.

You and I have similar taste in TV programming.Except I would add several programs from the sci-fi channel to the list.
Basic 60 channel cable and road runner costs me 90$ a month. And the only reason I got cable at all was for the roadrunner access.I have a tuner card installed on my comp with free online programming guide like TIVO, just no 9.99 a month fee.I record programs that come on while I'm asleep mostly, to watch later.

I loves my cable. I've got all of the channels 'cept for some of the movie ones. I like the internet ok, but nothing beats sitting on the couch watching TV. No lag, no clicking, just watching. In fact, I think I'm gonna go sit and watch the rest of transformers on G4.
