People listen to music for different reasons, but the most basic understanding is that music is stimulating your mind. All of our minds are different. Take yourself away from the media and all of culture's influences, and simply LISTEN. Try not to get any which way of perception, positive or negative, "poser" or real, and just listen to the music. Does it sound good to you? Then it is. And i'm not saying this because I listen to music that is culturally divided.
I'm saying this because i'm sick of assholes ruining people's own natural taste for music. I don't care how you rationalize your own taste's.

Music-Taste-Superiority-ism is just like rascism or sexism or ageism. There is a word for it, though I do not remember aforementioned word.
