:dance: well i vegged for a month and flowered for a lil over 8 weeks and wanted to know wht ya's thought any and all comments are appreciated. :dance:

Looks like some nice big buds. You only do one plant? Looks yummy, is that a tad wet still? Great work for a first grow! How much ya get when dry off the one plant? What type of lights used?

I actually had SIX plants and only 1 came out female... talk about some shit luck =\ ( i cried for a few days). =P The buds are still some what wet, they have only been hangin for about 48 hours or so. My grow was strictly CFLs and im not sure how much it will way out to. im hopin for 1 1/2 - 2 ounces
my next grow is gonna be white widow i think, not sure yet. I will also invest in a HPS light, but i dont know how many plants i can get under 1 400w or 1 1000w. info on this question would be great being that im to lazy to look it up atm. THANK YOU FOR REPLYING!

A 1000 watt lamp can cover 5X4, and you can pretty much assume each plant will take up about a square foot in the end. So twenty plants per 1000 watt lamp give or take a few.... nice first grow!

That looks great! YUM! Can I ask, you said you vegged for four weeks...do you approximately remember how big it was when you switched the lights...ie meaning how tall, wide, or nodes? Was it alternating nodes and preflowered before you threw it in? Just wondering when I should do mine. Also you said you went all CFL this grow, approximately how many lumens (or watts) did you put on the plant....Thanks, S

As for the lights i used 6x42w warm bulbs for flowering
and 6x25w cool bulbs for veg.
the plant was actually no bigger then 5 inches when i started flowering, and wasnt really wide either.
i actually tried to LST it but ended up ripping 2 barnches off that were gonna be my main colas. :p
ill show ya a pic of my stem compared to my watch and hand lol:D

Hey thanks for sharing this, it's great. My plants are 5 inches tall and four weeks old....I'm lsting though, so I'll wait a little longer. This thread has given me even more hope for my crop! Thanks again! S

I actually just got done jaring my buds up and was wondering how long i should cure them for?
When i cure them im supposed to put them into a dark spot, in an air tight jar right?

that's definitely a nice female. I just had five straight males-pissed me off. then I made sure that my seedlings had four or five inches of soil beneath them, now I've had three straight females so far. consider that and ph level when you start your next batch. a potential female seedling will need cozy conditions and soil that's not too acidic and pretty deep in order to stay female, otherwise it will think it's in a shitty area and it thinks all it needs to do is form some pollen sacs and release them into the wind to find the female flowers in the nicer areas.

Could being in the small space for the first 1-2 weeks influence it becoming male or female that much tho?!

i actually had 20 rooted clones from the plants but the shity part is... NONE came from the plant u see b4 u b/c i put it into flowerin a week b4 the others. Reason being cause my rooting supply didnt arrive from hydroponics.net yet, and i got anxious and through a plant into flowering...
not knowing it would be my only female =[

hey jefffar, i actually had it tied down during veg but ripped 2 stems off (accidently) while makin adjustments to the plants. so it acted like a topping also i assume.thank you for the comments, im sure ur grow will be a blast for u. just make sure ur plants have good ventilation and a proper feeding cycle and everything else will just flow =] i pretty much just winged my whole grow, had fun with it and just learned from what i did (or didnt do) best of luck to ya tho =]!

hey guys thanks for all the wonderful feed back imma post a pic of the weed in about 3 more days. The curing process is an amazing thing. the weed gets covered more and more everyday with beautiful crystals =]. The high actually tends to be a lil dif everytime i smoke it tho, is that cause its still curing?
