Don't know if you guys have ever heard of this band...they are a fairly newer band from Australia.

They are kind of like...Led Zepellin meets Black Sabbath.

Anyway, I was able to see them in concert, it was super rad. They are an awesome band, I am fortunate to have such awesome friends that they bought me a ticket...

Only lame part was they they didn't allow smoking and wouldn't let you outside, so my friend and I went in a girls bathroom stall and smoked a cigarette...and these fatty security gaurd chicks knock on our stall and are like "THEY GIRLS ARE SMOKIN' IN HERE!"...and we ran.

yeah, gotta love Wolfmother. some other aussie acts you should check out, are The Presets, Cut Copy and The Avalanches. in fact, all four acts are signed with the indie record label Modular Recordings.

I have heard of The Avanlanches, awhile back...don't think I have heard of the others but I will have to check them out sometime.

I think it is cool that their sound resembles Led Zepellin, because I freaking love Led Zepellin...and since I never had a chance to see him in concert before it is cool to be able to see a band like wolfmother..

They put on a fun show with a lot of good energy..just like their music. It just makes you want to freakout. I was stoked on it.

they're ok, i think a lot of their songs on the album sound similar. I can't really compare them to led zeppelin though. Sure their sound is kinda similar, but song -wise they're not even close to the same league as zeppelin.

I can say I don't care for them at all. I love Led Zeppelin and Sabbath, but one thing I do hate, is bands that are unoriginal, and WM are just that. They have no sound of their own and are replicas of Led with crappy lyrics and shitty playing. They are the juniors of Led Zeppelin, unoriginal music.

i havent heard this band, but please dont call new bands a combo of lked zeeplinb and black sabbth. that is just a terrible description and undermines two of the best bands ever. i have never heard this band, but if they are one of the best bands i have ever heard then ill admit i was out of line. until then choose your words better dont toss those names around so lightly. thanks folks

theyre not zeppelin or sabbath but they are pretty good compared to all the shitty indie rock clone bands that are so popular right now.

You guys are mean man..I just was stoked my friends took me to a fun concert. I am not saying they are black sabbath and led zepellin, it's just obvious they are quite influenced by them and put on a good freakin' show. I had a good time, glad you all wanted to rain on my parade!
