Here's a list of some local contacts (http://www.ccguide.org.uk/contacts.php) in the UK legalise cannabis movement - people willing to speak to the press and / or act as a local contact point.

If you are willing to do the same, please email me [email protected]

also please consider signing up in support of the Legalise Cannabis Alliance (http://www.lca-uk.org)

thank you for the links im going to sign up soon and help in any way i can. i think it's a cause worth fighting. cannabis has been penalised for too long now its time things change. im so sick of having to hide my stash hide my grow hide fucking any thing to do with cannabis and the cultivation of cannabis. the goverment say we have the freedom of speech but they aren't listening to our voices nearly half the population of england smoke cannabis it's more popular than cigarets it dont do near as half the damage fag's and alcohol do to you. the goverment go on about crime and how it is down to drug's what has it got to do with cannabis yeah fair enough its a drug but thats as far as it goes when was the last time you read in the paper that some old lady was knocked down and robbed so that the person could go buy some weed. in my life i have never seen that and do you know why coz cannabis has nothing to do with the crime in this country. the only time cannabis becoms a statistic is wen the police bust growers or users of it. yeah i no some growers use the money to front the other crimes but that is just a few of the bad one's so why place us all in the same catagory. we like to finish work come home have a spliff or a bowl and chill out either with some mates or on our own. whats the harm in that. i think the law is so narrow minded that it need's some one new young and wide eyed to change it. every one in the goverment is so stuck in there own ways that they dont see or become to comprehend that things have to change or we will just be going over the same things again and again. i would gladly put on protests and marches any thing to get all of our voices heard. i no its been long reading this but every one has to express there opinions so well there was mine thank you all laters peace!

I don't want cannabis legalised, I don't want the inevitable price rise which will follow.

amberler i no its going to get taxed but dont you think it would be better to have it legal than having to buy off dealers u dnt no and get robbed or stitched up in some way if cannabis is legalised its going to take away most of that criminal elliment is'nt it and we would stop having all this crap weed going around nearly killing us as well so if u think about it cannabis should be legalised.

I can't really disagree with what you are saying.

It would be interesting to see how much revenue the government receive currently from smokers in this country from VAT on rizlas, bongs and pizzas due to smoking habits.

Hi amberler,Greetings from the sunny midlands.Im personally all for legalization. We will no longer be criminals. For me,that will be the main thing. As for what enevitable price rise? We will all be free to grow the grow and use the herb as we please. You and i and anyone who wishes will be able to grow and supply ourselves without any hinderance. So you see there will be no price rise. The weed you and i grow as free people will be lovingly tended to by us.We can make sure exactly we are putting in to our plants and after the initial financial outlay,we will all be supplying ourselves with as much as we like, unhindered and unbothererd by law for absolutely sod all.Peace.Chris

I am from the Midlands originally, Kidderminster :(

It would be nice if we where allowed to grow it ourselves but like many people I am sure that effort involved may be too great, I am a lazy bastard at the best of times.

LOL I know what you mean! I did't realise the effort that people have to go to!
I thought you'd just lob a couple of seed in a pot, a few weeks later you cut it down, dry it out an smoke away! How very little i know!!!!:S2:

lol exactly i wouldnt mind it being taxed cos i would grow, if it was legal, i would teach my friends to grow from what i have learned on here, i would teach my neighbour and i would grow at home my self.

But now i have to do it outside, and can only share my knowledge with people really close to me :S

It should definatley be legal its common sense, simple commons sense :P
