lol i got new toy for my mobile k800i

its this little thing you plug into the headphones and it transmits a fm station wave


basicly i plug this little box into my mobile phone and play music on my mobile (mp3's) and it transmits it on fm radio to a selected freq' so i can tune ANY RADIO (CAR,VAN,HOME,SHOP,) STEREO into my phone and play any music i have on my phone through ANY RADIO PLAYER ANYWHERE.

I can see this concept getting squashed pretty quick...

thoughs little fm transmitters only put out enugh fequency to transmit like 20 ft or somthing. They have been arround for a while. i started seeing them more and more when the ipods started becoming popular.

They do an extremely similar thing for i-pods...alot of people have them here, don't think they are illegal though.
I think they are called i-trips or somthing...

But that is pretty cool!
it's good if you don't have an aux in on your cd player but have radio.

I am helping a friend with a design to run a radio station out of his car. It will have a switch that allows you to select between broadcasting what is being played on his car stereo and a head set we are installing into his car seat. We have a small portable computer stashed away somewhere in the city (it's a small small city, about 2 x 2 miles) with it's own broadcaster that we connect to through the internet, and is controllable via cell phone text messages.
