1st pic - my 200 watt envirolite use for veging, need to get cfls i duno if i will.
2nd pic - my latest grow room setup (changes as plants grow)
3rd pic - a problem i have recently been having, thought to be overwatering.
Slowly going now tho (i hope)
4th pic - A cake i made lol
PLants are different ages, big one (white widow) is 10 weeks old from sprout.
Smaller ones are 5 weeks i think, have to check that.
conditions are not ideal:
Temp - 10-15 degrees C
Watering paters have been changed again, now i leave a little puddle of water on the surface and leave it soak.
Light has to cover all plants (9 cannabis and 6 others so i dont get caught)
ventilation is good tho
Anything else let me know

Hey pezzo. Yah it looks like over watering man, lay off for a bit and take it easy. Also, why is your light so far away from your plants in pic#2??
Pezzo
12-20-2006, 11:31 PM
its gotta cover all the plants c, theres plants in there u cant see... if i put it any lower all the plants will bend towards it and the big one wont get enought light (ive tried it) thanx for the comment tho :D

Very good log, Pezzo. Are you using any other lights for this grow?
babystarbud
12-21-2006, 04:50 AM
cool, youve done a log....
are you growing in a shed or sothing, how come the temps are so low?
mmmm.....cake
Pezzo
12-21-2006, 03:56 PM
thx, growin in a shed yes. shed is umm crap lol the door is warn away at the bottom so it has big gaps and the roof is corigated so thers holes there too. good ventilation tho.
its now at 8C or 47F if u prefer farenheight.
that is the only light i have for veg, broke so many that im out of money!
i have a lightwing propagating light for starting which is in my closet and it is warm in there so.. (look that up on google images'lightwing propagating light')
i also got a 400 watt hps light for flower which is in another section like that one above, also in the same shed

MERRY CHRISTMAS
would have uploaded some music or picz or somethin but gotta go so catch u later

12-22-2006, 12:17 AM
i would be more worried about temp than ventillation by the sound of it!!!
dude if your not carefull they will freeze to death in this weather! you should put the HPS on just to keep the frost off!!!
you say your broke, but a few cheap improvements may help....
invest in some of that insulation spray-foam, use it on the holes under the shed roof, etc, and a heat pad under the pots like whats used for reptiles will help a bit also.its cheap and will keep the cold and draft out a bit...
merry christmas, and good luck!

sorry 4got to take pics will do soon...
bought a replacement light for a light i already had (got it free delivery men fucked up lol)http://www.growroomsuk.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7
put that in my cuboard and put 4 plants in there...
came back nxt day and it was 31 degrees C! lol better than 8 but too high now. It also stank my room out and my mum smelt it, told me to get them out the house.
her house, so i did... put them in the flowering room, changed the hps light for the lightwing.
temp isnt as cold as 8 and there is a fan for ventilation so i think they gunna do well.
as for the other room there isnt so many plants in there so i got all the plants closer to the light, they growing faster and better. All looking good.
Mum told me she wants the shed emtied and i can build my own in the garden so i will have a proper grow room now :D merry crimbo

good luck...

hey Pezzo, any updates on these babies?
I'm surprised that your internodes aren't longer with the light that far away, but I guess that depends on the strain quite a bit as well.

1. big ass plant showing the top (problem solved!)
problem was overwatering

3. thats my flower room but wiv the veg light and some plants so they shared between 2 lights now. plants are healthier than they look in that pic.

came back on 23rd, they are still alive and have grown a little but they were very underwaterd (my fault) the bottom leaves have died..
I have removed them, cloned one plant and prcticed the dryin process by using fan leaves.
As its winter and its very cold the plants arnt growing, they are still quite small and ive been advised to grow gd stuff then nxt winter when it goes rare again ill have a lot of ppl coming to me for it.
so im flowering it when i warms up a bit, mabey june
Will have pics soon

man mental, ill stop complaining about all the problems coz i dunno wats goin on. its not lookin very gd, rootbound is the most logical cause but i have no more room.
So... ive had to start flowering before they get too big and ive lost the camera so i havent got any pics for a while.
3 have bin potted in to big pots and are day 2 of flower, the other 6 are waiting to be potted and flowerd.

Im glad i put flower day 2 in the last post as i forgot how far along they were!
Found the cam got the pics! (sorry but the hps is flickering slower than the camera reads or whateva so its a lined picture...)

Thx Bree, appriciate it.:)
o man what could be worse! plant problems i can handle but this..
i spent a month researching, 5 long hard working months growing, closing on to £1000 to run this project, effot and outstanding proformance from my plants and friends, and now with as little as 27 days left untill all this would be rewarded and looked back on as good times mum changed her mind.
It was worring her, she was gettin sleepless nights and she came to me to get rid of them. As its her house and it was upsetting her i had no choise but to do it.. She gave me the next day to get rid of them.
My bro who had the same fate hid his plants, took 3 of mine and tor them up in front of mum to make it look like he got rid of his... I wasnt there so there was nothing i could do about it! (Look at my other threads to no what problems ive had wiv him b4)
Me n my mates spent all afternoon doing every we could to save the other 7, 3 of witch are in flowering ^^^. We phoned round everyone we could etc... Fortunatly we found someone who could take em.
Have to ped em 5 mile up the road tomorro lol. Hope i dont get stopped!
Pics in rememberence of my babies who died...

Oh, crumb....Well, I highly respect you for listening to your ma. Maybe she'll come around in the future, maybe she won't. Paranoia is a hard thing to live with, kwim? She was nice enough to give you a day to figure things out....And like canuck mentioned, you got to save some. YAY!
LIke Scarlet said, please be careful in your transport....Keep us up to date on the ones you saved!...if you can?
Sorry it didn't work out this time....There is always a next time when you have more control with your living enviroments!
To answer your q: My log is in this section under again another light question.

I started growing outdoors at first. You can probably still pull off a nice crop outdoors too.

Again thanx for the kind words :)
I havent been to visit them atall! keep ringin up me mates to ask if i can go.
(Someone took em in a car in the end)
For all i know me mates could have had a big smoke up lol, dont think they have bin waterd much either.
Mate rang me up and said the guy holdin em for me cant for much longer (freakin him out lol, dey must be gd) Oh well 2 weeks left im sure i can do somethin... Anyone live in cornwall who can hold em? lol
Bin thinkin on this for a little while... If u veg outside u need 18 hours of light, uy dont get that out side. and flowering needs 12/12 whereas light goes down to as much as 6/14 in da winter wiv temps as cold as -3 so how can u grow outside? thx for any feedback. Keep ya updated
Happy growin/tokin

7 days to go (well to the 8 week estimate)
Is 8 weeks an average or will the plant actually be ready to cut wivin 2 days of that deadline?
sorry i have no pics. Havent bin to c em, not botherd now as ive bin told he can keep em till the end and he is watering em.
Aparently they have more than doubled in size and the buds are 'massive'
which sounds gd and on track.
This guy has bin growin for years so im sure he can take betta care of em than i can. Ill have em back when there ready then ill chop em and dry em in da attik.

what happens if you keep flowering a plant past its 8 weeks?
Shovelhandle
04-15-2007, 04:50 PM
Sometimes plants need more or less time to "peak" potency. Look at the tricomes as they change from clear to cloudy to red. If they are mostly clear then give them more time. Boy, they sure are going to look different then last time you saw them.
