i was just reading it and she was like whats the cover of that and i said high times and she sai thank you and just took it away
she made me write a letter to my mom sayin bullshit that i was sorry i took it to school

i just needed to vent out sorry if this was a waste of ur time and also im dry so i cant calm down i want bud so bad

That's true, BUT, it still doesnt give the teacher the right to steal the mag, and thats exactly what she's done. She demanded it.

Lip things must have been different when you were in school. When i was in cell phones were expensive, (more so then now) and teachers would take em till the end of the year.

just try to complain to the board of education.

School is public, but has needs to have differnet rules to keep the kids....in check? thats the way it was at my place anyway.
When you have to walk to a metal detector and get scanned everyday. You're nolonger just 'going to class'

School is like a business place. (In fact, school seems to be basic training for how to behave on the job.) You do not bring sex mags, like Hustler, or any magazine based on an illegal activity to work. To do so is in very bad taste and could get you fired. I hope that you can learn this lesson in discretion.

Incidentally, when I was a kid, I learned that as a "mousy" little girl, I could get away with a lot more, than my "bad-ass" brother! Mom and the school teachers, both, kept a close eye on him and he could hardly get away with anything. At the same time, I got to "spend the night with friends"- in other words, go out smoking pot and dropping acid in the desert! :D LOL You know, you've already blown it. If they didn't before, they have you marked as a toker. If there is a next time, claim you found it on the way to school and were just curious. Timmy, it's because, until we change the laws, our wonderful plant is illegal! Schools support the statis quo- they resist any radical ideas. So as long as cannabis is illegal, any positive mention of it (beyond hemp sails and ropes) will be forbidden in a school situation- at least until you hit college. And he was supposed to be making up school work hours, not doing "free reading". Saturday school around here attracts 3 types- those who just love to learn (rare), those who have been ill for a while and those who are struggling. If he is in either of the last 2 groups, he needs to be studying! And my school's policy is that if the parent requests the item to be returned, it is given back. I imagine his school is the same. So all he has to do is get his Mom to ask for it back!

SPOT on. This is how i was all the way through my education. I didnt respect teachers unless they respected me, and if they didnt i just wouldnt go to their class. And if they shouted at me i'd stand up and shout back. I once threw a table across a class [not at a teacher, just to prove a point]

Like i said, as far as im concerned taking something from someone against their will when they have paid good money for it is stealing, doesnt matter where it is.

I once had a teacher call me something [racist] so i held him up by his throat and gave him a bashing infront of my whole class, but he couldnt do anything cos i had 30 people as whitnesses that he'd been racist towards me.

He didnt talk to me again for the rest of the year, and he let me do exactly what i wanted in that class, on the few occasions i turned up for it.

dude!!! my school is the exact same fuckin way. hick town, bullshit rules, even people dippin in class. lol. at my school, teachers tell you to give them something, (i.e. cell phone, mag, etc...) you tell them to go to hell... i guess its about pride, showing that whats your is yours, and they can guess again if they think they can steal it.

Ya know, I feel bad sometimes saying things I say. BUT, I only say them because I have already lived the situation. kwim?

HighTimes is like a Bible in a sense, to some of us, but in this day and age, it doesn't belong in school. Monday-Friday School, Saturday School or Sunday School. I know it sucks and you feel that some freedom has been taken away and good money was spent and gone to waste. BUT, THESE DAYS you guys can't bring almost ANYTHING to school.
In my day, we would have and did bring highTimes to school and never had a problem. Infact, we were allowed to read them if we wanted to. We also brought our pot to school in our purses or in the cars glove compartment.
Back then tho, there was nobody bringing knives and guns to school either.
Heck we even smoked weed during outdoor PE and the teacher knew and didn't care as long as we showed for his class.:D One teacher smoked with us outside of school hours. My friend married him too. lol
THINGS HAVE CHANGED AND NOT FOR THE BETTER IN MY OPINION.

School used to be a blast. I had a great time and got decent grades. Most of you guys must dread it now. That sucks and I really am sorry for you all.:(
