Looks a bit small to bring 4 plants to maturity, but i want to grow fairly small plants anyway so we'll see. Also a bit worried about roots becoming intertwined, but maybe it doesnt matter since they will all 4 remain their the whole time anyway. I realize most people use this thing more for a cloner than a long term solution
What media would you guys recommend? I'm starting in rockwool cubes and i will transfer to the aero 4 system when the roots are coming through. I have a 400 watt HPS/MH ballast and a bulb for each.
Anyone else used this system before?

So N are your four all going to be females or will you sex them out in the cloner thing? I think that's the only point where roots intertwining would cause a problem but I'm not sure it is problem--maybe you can just cut the males out no prob...or are you sticking clones in it?

well ive got one white widow sprout that looks like its going to make it.. it just now got to where there is some stalk between the first real flowers and the flowers that are there from the get go. I think im going to let that plant get big enough to take a cutting, then put that cutting in the aero system and flower it immediately.. if it is a female, i'll take 4 more cutting and put them in the system. The plant isnt very congruent, but it looks healthy. I'll try to get more pics soon.
Which brings me to my next question. What happens if you immediately put a cutting in 12/12? It will flower no matter how small? I wonder how long it would take from the time i put a clone in there until i could see the sex..
I also have a lot of bagseed germinating, but not sure what im going to do with that yet.
So the roots intertwining isnt a big deal as long as i dont need to remove any of the plants? I read in another thread where people let them intertwine and then just cut the males off at the base and then the roots just died anyway

looks like a good system how about this light http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/bright-wing-42w-2700k-2800-lumens-cfl-grow-light-p-1940.html looks like a good cfl for budding most light is in the red spectrum

that light isnt bad but youd still need several to have ample lighting
ive got a 400MH/HPS which should be perfect for this aero system
