Hi,
I noticed these brownish rust burns appear on one of my plant's leafs 2 days ago. Since then they have spread to another leaf but dont seem to be getting too out of control. Can anyone please tell me what it is caused by? It appears to be a PH burn of some sort, maybe.
Please check out attached photos for reference. Thankyou.

Yeah i check the PH of every solution i mix up. of recent i have been having to up the PH from 4.9 to 6.3.
I doubt it is nute burn as i have them on a very low concentration of the stuff at the moment. Plus when i have had nute burn problems it has usually looked something more similar to "the claw" (i.e. leaf is curled up inside on its self)

do you spray the leafs with anything when the lights are on?
if your plants get burned from the water on the leafs it has a dark brown colour and is very unique.

Yeah i have been spraying the leaves with the lights on.:( Better keep it to only at night. I think you are most probably right Harris.
Thanks for the links too.

I believe it is calcium deficiency. I have a few teensy spots as well on 2 leaves (but not on new growth or oldest growth). I changed to plain ro water of 6.0 ph and 10 ppm and I'm leaving it alone for a few days, then will add some cal-mag plus to my water.
I'd previously been on tap water and have no idea how much calcium was in it.
Check out my sig for the Plant Problem Guide w/ Pics. You will probably find your problem and solution.

I am having a similar problem right now, unfortunately the pictures won't reveal much with this shitty camera. I too believe it is a calcium diff., but I am awaiting advice from others on the board. I also have slight curling of the leaves as you described on a few of the plants, if the nute burn isn't bad will it go away on its own? I only gave them 550 PPM and the plants are like in between 9-12 inches tall, I think they are plenty mature enough to handle that but I could be wrong.
