Weed Propaganda spreads, once again

Okay, this is taking it too fucking far.

We had a guest speaker come to our school too talk to the senior year (my year) about the dangers of drugs, and funnily anough, she focused on the "dangers" of the elicitly dangerous and destructive drug named marijuana, ofcourse.

Here is one fact that she said. "50% of people who smoke marijuana suffer from phycosis or other mental illnesses in the future"

Here is another "Smoking marijuana has a high chance of creating a chemical imbalance within the brain"

And too name one more, she said "Marijuana kills brain cells"

Like, okay. I was rather speechless at the amount of bullshit that left this fucksnards mouth. And 90% of my yeargroup were also shocked and decided that weed is a wickedly dangerous drug. I had a group of girls come up to me and my friends (who smoke weed every few weeks) who gave us a masssive lecture about what we were doing to ourselves. I would have counter-reacted to the comments, but i knew there was no point. Who would believe an immature 17 year old who smokes weed over a smart educated college student retard? For fuck sake, i know.

Just to top that off, since then, one of my friends has decided that i have changed, and he strongly beleives it is because i am damaging myself from occasionaly inhaling the smoke of a natural plant... Mmmm okay yeah. After explaining stuff to him, he said "Didn't you learn anything from that guest speaker that came a few weeks ago?". I was like...."Jesus christ dude" and he goes "What, you think they make that stuff up just to scare us? If you do, you are an idiot, they know more then we do". Okay, by this point i felt like laughing and knocking the guys nose out of place at the same time. I calmly stated "Okay, you are a ignorant fucking fool, open up your mind a bit, your mind is locked up, you beleive what you are told, you are an ignorant fucking idiot, there is no proof weed is harmfull, find me some evidence it is harming me, and i will stop for good". Then he says "Okay, if it doesnt cause any damage, then proove it". By this stage, i couldnt beleive my friends idiotic comments, but i ignored it. I told him about the monkey experiments etc, explained there is NO proof it is harmfull, explained that i have talked to doctors about weed, and they have told me the same thing that i have been explaining for the past 20 minutes. Yeah, it goes on and on.

At the end, he says "Okay, you are convincing, but i still beleive what the higher authorities say, it is an illegal drug, so it is banned for a reason, it must be dangerous, im not going to change my mind on this subject"

I finished off by saying, "Yup, okay my friend, you beleive what you want to beleive, or what they want you too beleive, but im never going to stop, so if you really beleive what they say, you better get me a reservation at the nuthouse, because im not stopping untill they provide evidence, Have fun living your non-weed filled life, i feel sorry for you" *i walk off*

Okay, im glad i got that off my chest. But unfourtunatly, I am sure all the people who had not smoked weed in my yhear group, are now too scared to ever try it. SO fuck you government and followers, You are depriving your people of a magical insight, you assholes.

If they're really was that many acidents because of cannabis use then why aint those the ones in my paper or on my news at 10? It's all drunk drivers, there the irrespncible ones. I drive stoned, and i dont condone it [i know, it's a bit rich comming from me] but the point is i've been driving stoned since before i was even legal to drive, period. And i've ajusted, i can drive fine, and i know for a fact my reaction times are slowed down. As soon as i start driving i know im stoned but i dont feel it, which is a good thing.

But if i ever got pulled over and tested... i'd be fucked. But saying that, they acn do you for driving a week after you last smoked. Doesnt make any sense.

For those still in HS passing out flyers may not be worth the trouble. I know at my school we had to keep talk of us smoking out of the ears of certain people. The school I attended drug tested anyone who was said to use drugs, thought to use drugs (slept in class), etc. Than you had to go to rehab and get clean for the next test. A bunch of BS. The point is don't go doing something that will get you tested and tossed out of school or at least take over your weekend. Hold your tounges in most cases.

I think we should organize a myspace assult. It would be the safest and most efficent way to reach as many people as possible with limited negative consiquenses. It would be very difficult to get anything published in a news paper that was pro weed. Even if you did, it would only be read by the people in that small region and those who do there own research on the internet. The best route would certainly be using myspace.com

I'm not a big myspace user and only have about 20 friends on there, I never got into the site. But everyone seems to love it, so it seems that would be the best place to post true facts that counter what the DEA and other government agencies say about the dangers of canabis use. Considering I'm not overly familiar with myspace or there TOU I don't know if it would get members banned. I have seen pages with big pot leaves though as well as anti propaganda material.

Just a thought, but I have no plans to plan it.
