Pipe with chamber for storing weed - good or bad?

I have this pipe, and it has a section where you can stuff weed in there, and the air passes through it as you inhale. Iâ??ve always liked it mainly because you can suck as hard as you want and the weed inside would act as a barrier instead of having hot coals going down my lungs.

But I wonder, how does it affect the weed inside? Like does it make it worse (maybe the heat from the air burns off some of the THC) or does it make it better (gets resinated from all the smoke passing through it)?

The first and only bowl I've ever bought had a chamber for the Rainy Day and I've sworn by it ever since.

The pot you put in there gets saturated with resin from whatever you smoke in the main bowl.

It's great for when you run out since it lasts longer and tides you over until you can get more.

DO IT! i do that all the time...put about 4 bowls then smoke atleast 15 grams after wards and the weed turns into this really dark brown (better if almost black) and it gets you WAAAAAAAAAAAAY fucked up....

well when ever i try to do that shit my weed always comes out all resinated and shit but it seems to me that i never get as high and the weed burns way to quick

uhm.....then you have a serious problem with the laws of physics.....or you let it dry out or something....becuase when done right the weed should come out dark brown to black....and extremely wet...

Heh, so i've been doing it. Only downside is that if the bowl is almost gone, it can be easy to suck the flame slightly down the pipe and if it hits that shit in the middle even the littlest bit the shit that I suck in = the death smoke and i'm dieing for like 10 mins, heh.

if you're lighting the weed in the savers chambers, you've got WAY too much flame going. as to smoking it, it should be pretty easy to do...pull it out with a pair of tweezers (so your hands don't reek of resin for 4 days) and snip little bits of the resiny weed with some nail clippers or tiny (disposeable!) scissors. the main idea is to break it up (as you would with normal weed) so it will burn evenly in the bowl. and yes, it will be the death smoke...horribly heavy, feels like its sticking to your throat, and you will be high as the proverbial kite.
