Ive been told to veg till they are 15" high to get the best yield i have around 180cm height space so it shouldnt be a prob they are currently around 6" and very bushy and a little over 2 weeks from seed.

can anyone advise on how big to veg before i flower i want to try and get 4 oz a plant they are under a 400w hps. cheers

have you been training or topping them? generally speaking the best time to flower is when the plant is sexually mature, that means leaves are alternating along the stem instead of growing opposite each other at a node. usually it takes 6-8 weeks for that to happen.

another thing i should've mentioned is you might get a better response next time if you post on the right board - like basic growing or indoor growing.

yeah but the question was strain dependant so i asked in this forum, the plants are very bushy lots of growth from the nodes you can hardly see through the plant looking side on as there is lots of packed leaves. they arent being topped or lst'd just growing them normally i was told power plant was a big yielding strain i think after 6 weeks of veg they will be 2 ft tall at least so i doubt i will veg them that long the biggest plant is growing a inch a day now.

yeah but the question was strain dependant LOL - most people look on 'strains and seeds' when they want to know about plant genetics so it's not as widely viewed as the grow boards - and you are asking a growing question.

I'm not having a pop m8, just saying more people will see your Q on the other boards.

anyways - 15" sounds about right to get an oz from each plant (probably a bit more if you treat em good) with a 400w.

oops - you want 4oz a plant not one - ok I think you might have to let em get bigger than i said or maybe LST them.

honestly mate ask on the grow boards cos someone will have definately grown this and will help you.

cheers.
