So lately I have been lowering my temps at night to see exactly what temp is needed for my purples to really turn purple. It gets around 55 degrees F at night and around 70 in the day. I dont like big temp changes but I dont want it too cold in the day either.
I have a few strains going in this room, specifically I am speaking of some Purps, Cindy 99, Romulan, and Skunk #1. Although only one of these is specifically a purple strain, all 4 are turning people with the low temps. The Purps, your first 3 pictures, is obviously going the most people, its leaves going a dark purple color. They are about 5 weeks into flowering. The 4th pic is the Skunk #1. 5th pic is the Cindy 99, not a good example of the purple on them but the best resolution. However the Skunk's under leaves are going deep purple, the Cindy 99 tips are going purple, and the Romulans entire leaves are going purple.
While this doesnt really do anything for potency, there is no denying that everyone loves purple. Its rare, its special, and everyone just seems to love it around here. I am hoping the Skunk #1 will turn entirely purple because its a great plant...super smelly. The Trainwrecks in the same room are not affected at all.
