So currently im 17, well back in the days of pee-wee hockey when i would been about 12 or so we were havin a game and i got hip-checked, to the fuckin knee, then into the boards, it felt like below my knee had been torn off, well it healed without a cast or anything, thats just cause i left it and didint complain too much, well as it turns out, i fucked a few ligaments in my knee up, now whenever i have to put pressure on it, ie: kneeling it stings like a fucker, i also Officiate hockey and during tournaments it gives me problems, am i eligable for medical MJ?

Probably not...

In all honesty it has to be a diagnosed problem. And from the sounds of it you could use knee surgery or simply more time to heal...

Now if you had leukemia... that'd be a different story.

It depends where you live! In California, you'd have a shot at it. You should go to a regular doctor first and see if he has anything that will help you. You should get your knee x-rayed and examined. Now you have some medical records and you can get a copy of them by asking your doctor nicely for a copy. (You might want to make some "soothing noises" at your doctor- "I just want to have this specialist look at it and the records would be helpful. Nice doctor, good doctor."(pats doctor's head ;) ), that's when you look up California NORML and check their list of friendly doctors. Medical record in hand and (about) $200 in pocket, make your appointment. Since you are under 18, my doctor will not give a recommendation unless both parents (or sole custodial parent) agree in writing! I don't know about other "pot docs", but mine has one heck of a case of morals! He will not budge beyond what he believes is right. Thank Goodness, he thinks pot is right! You may just have to wait until your next birthday, unless you find an "easy" doctor. Good luck!

If you do get the recommendation, stay strictly within the limits set by your county. I don't know how it is where you live, but here, they are busting med patients who are over the limit! Be careful and cautious. Live like you are still illegal! There have been a lot of rip-offs of medical patients! (May the bastards rot in hell! They are lower than a snake's belly!) In California, a medical card is NOT required (just a letter from the doc) and since I live in a corrupt rural area, I don't have one. I do not trust my government! My medical use is strictly between me and my doctors.

I injured my knee about 25 years ago and it bugs me now and then. I twisted it a few weeks back. I found that wrapping it tightly in an Ace bandage for a few hours at night helps (usually while I watch TV- Granny loves to quilt and watch football. Go Raiders! lol). I think it just squishes everything back where it's supposed to be and gives it a chance to knit back together. It wasn't healing at all until I started wrapping it! It hurt for over a month. Now, it's getting better. which is a good thing, since it is starting to snow and all those "old age" aches are flaring up. I really don't need a bad knee on top of all that! Time to medicate! - Granny Storm Crow :stoned:
