View Full Version : Very thin leaves - what's up?

My plants, in soil with organic nutes under CFL's, have been on 12/12 for about two weeks. I've got some lovely flowering going on, but the blades of the fan leaves at the top of the plant are very narrow - like a quarter of an inch wide. The leaves look so thin and stringy and limp compared to the lush, wide leaves at the base of the plant.

If someone could give me a little advice on what the issue could be, I would be very grateful! :rasta:

Thanks!!

Nothing is wrong. That is normal.

oh, thank you. this is my first indoor grow. i'm using the same seeds as i did for outdoor.. but the plant is turning out to be very different. outdoor, this thing was so lush with fat leaves all the way to the top. it doesn't even look similar now.

Plants can be different even if from the same seeds. Plus they will grow differently outdoors than they do indoors. I've noticed with a lot of strains that in flowering the leaves narrow a bit as buds begin to appear.

Good luck with your grow.
