first load the page go to the top toolbar, goto TOOLS..INTERNET OPTIONS..And where it says HOMEPAGE make sure its not some dumb page make sure its the page you want,,If it isnt change it and press apply and retry,If it is then do the following things.

Download...

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html ---spybot search/destroy

then go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and do a virus scan.

I agree with Omun I have been using FF for 6 months now or so and I will never go back to IE, tabed browsing is great. I still recoment getting Spybot because you might have a lot of spyware on your comp if you use any free programs.

It doesnt automaticly find the spybot programs you have to do a search within the program to find everything kind of like your norton virus scan. If that doesnt work i have no clue what to tell you without actully looking at your computer and teh stuff u have installed and configured.

what i'd do is go to a computer geek like forum or something. and ask them, they'll probably tell you to get the program "hijack this" (its downloadable) this will generate a log of processes and operations on your comp and post that and your problem and what not and they should help. press "ctrl alt del" and se eif theres any suspicious things running and do a search on google for the *.exe or wtvr. this should help figure something out or take you to one of the said forums

Another important thing to do is keep all your antivirius and spyware soft ware updated, check for up dates every few days
