And? whats the "MUST SEE" about? this is a well known method of getting CO2 for free, and definantly not the only one, not to spectacular, everyone knows about this method, you are preaching to the choir..... (O_o)

Be Nice Bongo... This is just a case of trying to be helpful.
Thanks for the info but as Bongo said this is one of the least controlable and highest maintainence methods of dispersing Co2 and usually only used when budgets mandate it.
Better than no Co2 for sure though.

Cali Jay, please give a reason for your points :)
Why do you need to control co2 during 24\24?
What is the problem with maintanence?
I'm new to the growing, had my buds bought from dealer and found couple of seeds there, planted em and i have 3 inch tall weedy in 5 days with glass over the top , 24\24 11 w lumi table lamp lighting. sraying with oxygenated water.:)

You're growing with 11 watts? That's the lowest I ever heard. I highly doubt you're going to get any bud out of it at all. Turn off that table lamp and save some money for a couple of decent CFLs.

.
I do the yeast/sugar thing myself, just in case, but I don't think it makes much of a difference.
This is how you use CO2 if you want to do it properly:

And yes, get some better lights TOMORROW!

u dont need all that, go read a grow guide dude, it tells u exactly what lighs u need weather u have a large budget or a small one. The amount of CO2 you breath out while watering them will be more then yeast and sugar will add to the grow. Talk to your plants five minutes a day insted.

If you have enough air flow going on your plants from the fans, suplemental CO2 is not needed.

The Co2 is usually the icing on the cake so to speak and with the info you have given me we don't even need to be talking Co2 right now. You can grow perfectly fine without Co2.
First thing you need to research on the site is CFLs. (compact Flourescent lights)
Second thing you need to research is soil growing techniques.(hydro is not for you yet)
Third thing you need to research is Nutrients.(Don't burn your babies)
Fourth thing is to prepare a suitable grow box....
Do a search on the site and all the info is here. If you have any questions after you do some research come back and we can help you out.
Take care- Jay

Accualy, if you wanted to jump rite into Hydroponics its not hard, i have never grown in soil, i have done Hydro from the start. Its much easyer than soil.

I'm keeping my eye on this new little gimmick:
http://www.carlsberg.se/wbch3.exe?p=1001399
It's a home draught beer machine for 5 litres of draughtbeer, and I'm thinking the CO2 canisters for this little contraption may be in a handy format for small grows.
