I dont really see the funny side, although it doesnt really matter. It just means you have to pay more Tax for the coucil to replace them. The street signs all around my town have been being nicked recently, about 10 of them or so, for now our coucil arnt bothering to put them back, because as soon as they do they're gone the next day.

Where I live there is a Weed Street. Its a little out in the country and was stolen alot. When I used to work where I did you would pass it everyday. Now its halfway up the telephone pole lol and like trippled bolted in it too.

i know its kinda like stealing a street sign that says something like "56th ST"

There's a Sesame Street in my town. People kept stealing it so often that they made the pole that connects the actual sign to the ground really really tall. Too tall for anyone to grab.
