Urine is a high quality, low-cost alternative
to commercial fertilizers. It is especially rich
in nitrogen and also contains substantial
amounts of phosphorus and potassium. The
fertilizing effect is rapid and the nutrients are
best utilized if the urine is applied prior to
planting and up until two-thirds of the period
between seed and harvest. It can be applied
pure or diluted but to be on the safe side when using in conjuntion with marijuana it is best to dilute with water to avoid odour, foliar burns
and the loss of ammonia, The urine should
be applied close to the soil and incorporated
into the soil as soon as possible.

Human food contains considerable amounts
of nutrients originating from plants. Only
minute amounts of the plant nutrients are
absorbed by and retained in the growing
human body – the remainder leaving the
body as excreta.
The products of ecological sanitation like urine
are in many ways well suited for
use as fertilizers. They contain almost all nutrients
essential for Marijuana and can be used at the same time with other fertilizers. Including in Hydroponic systems.

Besides Nitrogen, Potassium, and Phosphorus, there are lots of other chemicals in Urine.

Arsenobetaine 0.069 mg/L
Dimethylarsinic acid 0.036 mg/L
selenium 0.059 mg/L
zinc 0.62 mg/L
sulfur
formaldehyde
Urea
plant growth hormones such as auxins
other minerals...
organic matter

I find that Urine is best used in conjuntion with another main fertilizer, to get the best resluts i recomend to not rely on Urine as your primary nutrient BUT if you had to it would not hurt.

Good Luck Organic Growers!

hmm... you think i could use my shit as fertilizer too?

Yes. BUT not at the same time as the Urine. LOL i wont go into it now, but if you want a guide to using your own Feces i could tell u correct ways to go about that, but i dont do it lol i will piss in a jar and pour it into the waterfarm but im not gonna play in my own crappulance.

The total amount of nutrients excreted
with faeces is lower than with urine, and
the nutrients are not as easily accessible for
plants. However, faeces are concentrated and
rich in phosphorous, potassium and organic
matter.
Sanitized faeces should be applied prior to
planting or sowing as the high phosphorus
content is benefi cial for root formation of
young plants. The faecal matter should be
within reach of the plant roots but it should
not be the only growing medium. The faeces
should be thoroughly mixed in and covered
by soil before cultivation starts. If there is a
limited amount of faeces fertilizer, it can be
applied in holes or furrows close to
the planned plants to capitalize on
this valuable asset when growing outdoors.

However, faeces are often applied
at much higher rates, at which the structure
and water-holding capacity of the soil are
also visibly improved. Organic matter and
ash are often added to the faeces during
collection and processing. These additions
will improve the buffering capacity and the
pH of the soil, which is especially important
on soils with low pH.
The average person produces around 50
litres of faeces each year. This amount of
faeces will fertilize 1.5 â?? 3.0 m2 of crop if
the application is made according to organic
content. If application is instead based on
phosphorus content, it will be enough to
fertilize 200-300 m2.

Cow's, pig's faeces are well, but horses faeces are best. My grand dad uses cows for his garden but he mixes it with ash, rotten wood etc, and lets it stay in campost for 9 months befor uses in greenhouse for soil fertilisation. These faece keep soil warm also supplying plant with needed minerals in hydro this probably wont work, cause its non needed at all, however urine will do!

He can also Urinate on the compost during its bio-degrade cycle to give the soil some extra goodness.

Urine is awesome it's sterile, organic and most importantly FREE, but mostly it's good for vegging cause of the high nitrogen level, so maybe there is another alternative to store bought fertilizer, that would work in hydroponics.
I heard that bone ash and wood ash are good for it, but can you use it in hydro?
