image posting problem need help.

when I use the code/tag http:/imagelink.com/blahblah.jpg
I dont get the image to come up in my post preview. I only get a link to the image.. How do i get the image to appear?

I want to post a "how to" to build a 40 clone cloner but cant get pics to come up.. here is a test to post a picture.. using the [*img*] code (without the *) all i get is the link.. need help..

If ya talking about how people have the thumbnail at the bottoms of their posts they are posting them as attachments i believe, scroll down where the options are when ya make a new post and use "manage attachments"

i cant do attachments because i have text that i type before and after pictures. anyway.. I just made an html file and uploaded it to geocities.. here is a link http://www.geocities.com/j2671m//clone40.html

it's vB, not phpBB I'm not to sure if it works the same way..

Just post the link :) Like you've done , or "manage attachments"
