so thats my old thread on the cab coming together got a skunk clone last night it was from the cannabis club it already has 5 sets of leaves so tonight or tomorrow gonna start doing some lst i will hopefully have some pics tonight also i attached cpl of what the desk looks like all closed and with the hamper in the way thats how it will be when ppl are around

so it been pretty hot in there i think thats why they are looking a lil droopy we have 2 23 watt 6500k lights and 1 26watt 2700k and 1 13watt 5000k thinking about taking out the 26 watt and 13 watt for like a week while i get another fan inside working also im thinking it would help cool down a bit if i put a big frozen ice pack in there maybe for a cpl hrs then let it freeze and put it back for a lil while any opinions are welcome

hmm the videos i watched said its okay to mist the leaves a bit during vegging and the growth on the top looked like it sped up a bit...about how long do you wait to start lsting? and does it matter if the bottom fan leaf is turning yellow? should i pull it off or just leave it?

leave it untill you can literally pluck it off, that way the plant takes all the shit it might need from in the leaf back to re-use, misting is something ive only heard people talk about recently, i never mist and my plants are all fine, wait a while to lst aswell, it doesnt need it yet, nice little grow tho man ;) good luck

so today took the plant outside for about 2 hrs and also had the light on it right above it so it was cool bad thing was when i put it back in i checked 2 hrs later and lights were off and the cord got messed with and it did turn back on but hope that that didnt affect it i wish i had a better camera to show the new growths that are just exploding growing is so much fun umm yea made the exhaust fan get a better seal fixed the intake fan to suck more air added another light a 13watt 5000k cfl and put a pie tray over top of the 3 prong light so more light is reflected down got a cpl pics from earlier today

a reason someone might want to mist is eventually when the plant has been vegging for a while and the roots can't get enough nutrients to a certain part of the plant due to size, etc. you would spray the nute solution right onto the leaves to compensate for the root inefficiency

was reading somewhere bad to give nutes during veg with soil im using so now i guess i just have some nutes next time when i grow in perlite,vermiculite and peat moss first 2 pics fomr the 8th other 2 form 11th its getting bigger im happy with the new growth fomr the past cpl days

weve been afraid to give too much the soil is kelloggs outdoor patio plus so it has nutrients in it but i was a container of water with a 1/4 of the amount of fox farm grow big and big bloom in it should i water with that next?

sorry havent posted in a while well we ran water thru the bucket to make sure of no nute lock up also trimmed off the bottom yellow leaves took out one of the lights the 13watt 5500k it lowered the temps to 88 seems like it is doing better gave a foliar feeding with the nute solution will proly water again tonight of tomorrow last night started lsting i think started a bit late but look at the pics ive got then we moved the lights a lil closer to it so please pot any opinions remember this is first grow so if im screwing up please help thanks oh these first pics are fom the 14th next set are from last night

Crazy ass amount of growth man. I was looking through your threads and you said it LOWERED the temps to 88 when you took out that light bulb. If its been above that the whole time, thats not good. Keep that temp at 75-85 k? You're plant will thank you.

Thats why your leaves are all fringed and burned yellow in the last set of pics. BE CAREFUL! :) Absolutely BEAUTIFUL clone though man. Im really diggin it.

yea i know i read somewhere tho that growth will increase its rate up to 90 degrees but yea its cooler now and also those spots on the leaves was from nute burn but thats been taken care of for the most part proly only a week or so left of vegging an then we get to find out how stinky this skunks gonna be

lst is just short for low stress training.. its like bending an tieing down the plant so that it will grow toward the light making it more like a short bush instead of a tall tree

Growth rate increases 90+ w/ added co2. Without it your plant will suffer. Also, when I start getting nute problems, the best thing ive found is to transplant to a larget container first. Alot of my problems usually go away repoted when the roots can stretch out more. A young young plant shouldnt really need many nutes till about a month in. Or maybe one feeding 2 weeks in.

so a friend brought over some micro phos last night which means we can start flowering soon.. i want to take some clones about 3 to 5 days into flowering someone posted they have a better survival rate cuz the phosphorus helps with rooting anyone know if this is legit??? well here the pics from friday

so last night switched the lights out so now got 3 23 watt 2700k cfl and 1 26 watt 6500k am gonna be getting a deodorizing cfl an change it out for the 6500k bulb fed last night first time giving it phosphorus also gave it some root stimulater

hey first off, nice grow for the first time! Anyways, the first thing I would say is that if you are planning on taking more clones at 23 days into flowering then I would reconsider that plan. I have heard of people doing this but for the most part it is very hard to get your plants back into veg with some strains, and impossible with other strains. You already have some clones so I would just wait till those are of proper size and then clone again!

Also, you might want to flower a little longer than 40 days as that is usually not long enough. I noticed you said you were "half way thru" on your last post. One more thing too, if nobody is posting on your grow then thats usually a good sign. It's when you are doing so much wrong that EVERYBODY can't help but pick it apart, otherwise its just another grow! Good luck man and keep us posted.

thanks alot deftdrummer no we thought we would be able to take clones a week or so ago but that time has past an yes we plan on flowering for 55-60 thats what the recommended time for skunk but gonna get a 30x microscope to be sure of trichs first

but we actually had to cut the bottom out an take the plant to a safer location b/c of someone a thief was living with us and when she was forced to leave we couldnt trust that she would not call the authorities on us so it has been moved to a friends closet which is nice b/c we were able to increase the lighting in their for these last 3 weeks also got some heavyweight its a pure carbohydrate get bigger denser budds im moving in a week so it will soon be in my closet and also in the move we will be adding a new aweome cab i have p[ics i will post later tonight getting exciting right naw

took off top buds today leaves were starting to turn purple we were able to make it so the smaller nugs will beable to get more light sorry bout the blurry one an the last pic is a clone of sour desiel we just got started in the desk in the cloner i made out of tupperware its pretty much the diy wick cloner that tokudai made

so today one of the buds was dry so me and abuddy took 4 footers of it and man weve been smoking trainwreck the last cpl days our high went to a really up head high felt like i was floating a lil harsh from not being cured yet but tasted pretty good so hoping second harvest will be bigger buds

most of the first harvest is curing got about an 8th out of that hoping for around a 1/2 o for this second harvest i set expecations a bit high but it was only the first grow and i am in no way disappointede with the results this weed has more crystals on it then the stuff i bought the other day cant wait for it to dry an cure ill post pics of trimming it tomorrow
