hi guys decided to chance cloning, the mother plant has been in flower for the last 8 weeks but in the last two weeks new stems have grown out from the top buds lots of them so i have decided to take 3 cutting s from them i dipped them in root powder and put them straight into pots going to feed them a mixture of water and root hormone for the first couple of weeks and see how they do, pics are of mother and clones. have them about two feet below a 400w hps ,hope im doing this right this is all new territory for me, if nothing else i can put it down to experience! these pics are an hour after potting looking pretty droopy but ill keep ya posted

ok mate im no expert on these thing put i ve had pleanty of healthy clones
ive always been one for takein small clones
i was under the impression the larger the cuttin the more water and nutes it needed and with no root system to feed the poor bugger it would be strugling to sustain its self from day one
heres a pic of my current clones i just took another 4 today the rest are 5 days old thers a few little roots pokein out of the cubes so theyll be ready for pottin on mon/tuesday
your already have the upset of being so late into flower but you could be lucky and they'll pull through
Well, it will take forever for those clones to root, if they don't die. Generally, you should take clones no later than the second week of flowering. Even then they take a long time to root.
I'm curious as to why new stems have started growing from the main bud. I've seen little stalks of flowers shoot up but not with leaves like that on them. Are you sure you have not inadvertantly reveged them, possibly a timer malfunction or light leak?

no light leak and the timer has been on 12/12 for last 8 weeks there are loads of new shoots all with leaves and all of them have plenty of bud sites the plant is 5feet 10 inchs tall and quite stringy the light doesnt penetrate the lower branchs properly would she be producing these new stems to get more light? i havent a clue but i cant think of any other reason should i get rid of them as they now are blocking the light from the maturing buds?
Well, I would stop cutting them off, they won't root and it's probably normal growth for this variety. It looks like your plant is highly sativa and it will probably go at least 3-4 more weeks of flowering. Let those shoots develop and see what happens.

Thoes are WAY too big of cutting for clones, It was extreemly late in the flowering process to be taking clones, u should have done it weeks and weeks ago, and now You have stunted the growth of your buds and your yeald is going to be small compared to what i could of been, u dont cut ANYTHING during budding it stresses the plant, more stress = Less Bud. Sorry About your Luck, nextime research befor u go hacking away at a flowering plant....

Im not mean, just being serious about it, i look alot into stuff befor i give the best advice i have, cuz some people and beginners do stuff anyway and mess there plants up even tho they were given good advice, so when im stern abou it, it lets the poster know that its not an option what im telling them most likely its a necessity to produce a crop that is worth there time and money.

hey bongo guess you were wrong about my flowering clones that were way too big check out the thread again for up to date pics
ummm ok.. what am i suppost to be wrong about? when the clones got cut off the big plant it shocked it, wich will make it produce less bud... and thoes clones still look droopy and thoes teeny tiny lil flowers there, what u gonna do with them all? role a pinter joint?
Come on man u came all the way to my thred about mylar to tell me i was wrong? i thought i was gonna see something spectacular here, instead its the same half dead clones with some hairs sticking out, thats barely a bud man, u arent gonna get much off all of thoes put togeather...
Have fun gloating about how wrong i am when u are smokin your plants pubic hair..
