Be sure to *enter your current password* in the top blank of the change email/password page.
For the email change to take effect, a confirmation mail is sent to the new email address - only when confirmed does the new email address go into effect.
And further note, that people who change their email address will not be able to post immediately until validated by a mod; Cafe Members may need to email
[email protected] to have their access restored after an email change.
It's best to use an email address one plans to keep for a long time since changing it, while that not difficult, isn't exactly instant either; takes a few steps as explained above.
