Some of my mates keep saying they are only getting pollen where they are. They cant find any skunk. What is pollen?

Pollen is what the male plant produces to fertilize the female. It's the plant world's equivalent to sperm. I hope your mates aren't actually paying for it.

That is known as kif, and if it is 100% kif, then it will be more potent than any weed you have ever smoked, but, a lot of the times, it is not pure. They like to mix in male pollen with about 25% of actual kif.
But pollen is a growing term known as the yellowish power than males release at mating time, that contains a very low number (%) of THC.

I really think pollen means something different but maybe Im wrong. Just the mate that told me he gets pollen has been smoking weed for years so I would expect him to no whats good shit.

Tell your friends to be quiet LOL. It's not pollen, that comes from the balls of the male plant, what your friends are talking about is POLM. It's the compressed trichomes. It's hash, and when it's called POLM, it's good stuff, not soapbar.
Alot of people call it pollen though, but it's not.
Get it, it's got a much smoother taste and smoke than bud, although it hasnt got the skunky smell, so it's pretty good for stealthy smoking.

this proves there is good hash to be found in the UK, its just not that common, it mainly is shitty soapbar, ive only come accross good hash a handfull of times in the past year
The only time i've bought good hash in UK was this summer in that drought, the rest of the stuff i've got is homemade... either by me or my dealer.

i am saying most people especially young people dont have the contacts to get good hash because it is extremely hard to get pure hash there is tonnes of soap in britain and at £5-10 pound an eighth of pollen its hardly going to be good hash . i am actually wright instead of in your opinion wrong
5-10 quid for an 8th is obviously going to be soap, but if you paying the same price as bud, you should be getting good stuff.

how young do you have to be to be classed as a young person???? and POLM normally goes for £20 an 8th, sometimes £15 if you know the right people :thumbsup:

if its going for £20 and eigth it still doesnt work out because pure hash is thc crystals compacted together. so it cannot be the same value as an 8th green the fact is that most hash even good hash in the u.k has some filler in it to put on weight whatever that may be.
Good hash is about 40% THC, the crystalls dont contain pure THC, they have cannabinoids in them too.
POLM is GOOD hash, and it should be the same price as bud. Simple as.
You can get good hash in England, but it's not easy to find.
Good hash has nothing added to it, if it has, it's not good hash.
You need to know the right people.

the only way you can garantuee getting good pure hash is if you directly know the grower who is making it otherwise POLM is just another word for the same thing. You may have access to homegrown but thats not the point the majority of people buy commercial weed and therefore get commercial hash.

Here are 2 lumps of pollum/polm that im toking on. The quaility of the 2 are completely different. 1 on the left is quite hard and fluffs up alot when heated, the high isnt 2 good. The other lump is what I call very good quailty, it is softer, very oily and you can see bubbles when heated. It has a very strong high. This is the type of hash I smoke all the time and I highly recommend it. :jointsmile:

Pollen, is a growing term, for the male cannabis "sperm." The male plants grow pollen sacks, which are a yellowish powder, and contain a very low % of THC.
Pollen maybe a slang term in the Uk, but in reality, it is called hash.
There is great hash and shitty hash. The good hash, is where the maker of it, left in a high weight of actual kif. Shitty hash, is where the maker of the hash, puts in a smaller weight of kif, and adds the remainder of the weight using male cannabis pollen.
The lower grade hash either came from a low grade cannabis plant, or male cannabis pollen has been mixed in.
The best hash comes from the grower and is usually not easy to find. If the growers are like me, they'd sell their buds and keep the high grade, homemade hash for themselves, which is usually the case.
