I've been playing guitar for about 15yrs. I have a '67 Fender Strat that was handed down to me by my dad. The neck since then has been replaced once. The neck pickup I put in a single coil Seymour Duncan, and the saddles have been replaced. I have the original saddles and they're all oxidized now, but they have snags on them and they kept busting my strings. I plan on getting them filed down by a technician and out the original saddles back on. The ones on there now are just black, and don't look as authentic as the real thing. I use it for clean or light distortion sounds, the blues mostly.

Then I have a Fender S-65, which is pretty much an Epi. SG copy, same shape and same tremelo system. It has 2 Seymour Duncan humbuckers in there, I tune it down to C#, then drop the top string down to B, for ultra heavy tones, a grinding tones.

Then I have an old acoustic Nova guitar. It is a clasical guitar, so the body is slightly smaller, but I found it a used store for $4. The neck was broken and the strings on there were so old they were black, but, I took it home, and in 48hrs is was like brand new. I use it all the time to play chill songs from Led Zeppelin and Floyd, eve The Who. It sounds amazing too! Nice and bright and clear...best $4 I ever spent. :)

I play my electric through a Fender Princeton Chorus. It has 2 10inch speakers in there, 125W and is plenty capable of playing small venues, as I have used it before. I'm a Fender person. I could have bought a Marshall 125W and i even tried it, but I prefer to sound of the Fender. It's a more cutting edge sound, the Marshalls are really thick and muddy sounding, and not very diverse in sound. My Fender I can be heavy, soft, bluesy, whatever. I found the Marshall was limited to one sound, thick and chunky.

Oh look, I've rambled on again. :o

I've been playing guitar for about 9 years now. I'm majoring in music performance and pretty much have my guitar at all times.

I've got a fender 50th anniversary american fat strat, an ibanez rg470, an ibanez Artcore af75 that i bought when they first came out when they were more expensive lol, and an seagull 6 string acoustic. I've also got a marshall jcm2000 triple lead 100w half stick with the vintage 60's reissue 4x12 cab.
