View Full Version : This is why online gaming sucks ass

I thought this was interesting.

One of the online games that I play has long been victimized by this group of hackers that gets together at a website called hugepackage.net

Hugepackage is a self-proclaimed cheater community. They get their jollies by ruining everyone else's online gaming experience.

But when you go to their website the first thing you will find is that they have their own rules and guidelines. Apparently, they don't think it's acceptable that other people should fuck around on their website the way they fuck around on everyone else's. I thought numbers 3, 4, and 7 were especially hypocritical.

Fuck you, cheaters. How can you have the nerve to ask me to respect you, when you don't have any respect for anyone?

Forum Rules and Guidelines
Users of the forum are asked to read and understand the following rules and guidelines, these are intended to outline what constitutes unacceptable conduct on Hugepackage.NET.

1. No 'spam' - What constitutes 'spam' includes the posting of unsolicited advertisements for other websites, products or services without permission, flooding the forum with identical topics or posts or posting large numbers of 'trash' posts. Members may include a link to their own web site in their signature or use the "your website URL" profile field, however registering solely to advertise such a link is disallowed.

2. No plagiarism - Do not copy other people's work, either from this site or from another site, without properly acknowledging the original source or author; passing off other people's work as your own is plagiarism, so don't do it.

3. No profile abuse - Using your profile to post offensive or unsuitable material, or using it to harass or offend another user is unacceptable. The moderators reserve the right to remove your signature if they find it overly long, offensive or unsuitable.

4. No multiple identities - No registering multiple usernames and engaging in 'multiple personality' activities; i.e. pretending to be several different people. Anyone caught doing this will have all related usernames disabled and their posting privileges removed. Members who live in the same household and share the same IP address are free to register an account each.

5. No non-English languages - As this is an English speaking forum, we ask that all members please speak in English when posting, posts that are in a foreign language cannot be understood by the vast majority of visitors and make the job of the moderators a lot more difficult.

6. No abuse of the Gallery service - As part of Hugepackage.NET we also provide members with a free fully functional gallery which they can upload images whenever they wish. The above rules and guidelines apply to the gallery also, anything which is unacceptable on the main forum is also unacceptable in the gallery.

7. Please respect the moderators decisions - Our moderators put in a tremendous amount of work and use up their own free time to keep the forum a safe, friendly place to visit. As such, please respect the decisions of the moderators, and take note if you are asked not to do something. Topics started solely to complain about a moderator's actions will be removed, if you have a question relating to action taken by a moderator please contact either the moderator in question or an administrator. Likewise, losing your temper and being offensive towards members of staff or VIP is a sure-fire way to get yourself banned. The moderators have a lot to do, please co-operate with them as best you can.

8. Hugepackage.NET reserves the right to change or add to these rules at any time, and in any situation the decision of an Administrator is final.

lol, well of course it's that way, i mean you couldn't honestly think that they're going to put up wtih any shit on THEIR turf... meh if i was a couple of years younger, i'd probably go there and break every single rule to such an extreme i'd have everyone hating me... and when they banned me, or my ip i'd just get around it (i've done it hundreds of times before) and do it all over again... but meh, just seems so petty to me now.. if i knew how, i'd hack their site and just put up the picture from tubgirl.com (don't go to it if you value your eyes... lmao) on the front page...

It may seem petty to you, but when you consider how much money people spend to play these games, I think it should be a felony to hack them.

no i know that's fucked up, i'm saying going there and breaking the rules over and over just to annoy them is petty lol... i know how bad it sucks to have someone fuck up a game... in FFXI (mmorpg) there were gil sellers (gil is the currency used int he game 'case you didn't know) they monopolize everything in the game that makes any decent ammount of money, and i mean EVERYTHING, if there's one monster that has a drop worth alot of money, you can bet your ass there's atleast 20 gil sellers standing around waiting to claim it... they're not exactly hacking the game, but they are destroying the experience for everyone.. you either pay 20-30-40 bucks for 1 million gil (which doesn't go far let me tell you... 1-3 decent peices of armor, keeping in mind you are constantly upgrading your gear as you level) or you settle with the shitty gear, the stuff you only find noobs wearing or something like that...

btw, you obviously play games online (unless you just happened to stumble upon this site or something lol) so what games you play online? btw, online console gaming is a lot better then games that offer pc versions.. with consoles you can't hack, all you can do is glitch, but with a pc, if you konw what you're doing you can build your own hack to do anything you wish, you just have to know how to make it work.. or you can just use the hack someone else made... pc games are generally way to easy to cheat on.

Black Hawk Down - hackers come in with the ability to fly and have automatic rocket launchers with unlimited ammo. They literally end the game because no one can live longer than 10 seconds after respawning.

Runescape - I stopped playing after I reached level 108 and someone hacked into my account and stole everything I had earned.

I wanted to try World Of Warcraft, but I don't think I will. Why should I waste the money to play another game that has probably already been invaded by hackers?

Just quit and gave away ahrims, and full guthans and full dragon to my friend. gave a fury and whip to another.

i wanted to try black hawk down... it was awhile ago i think when i was reading about it, i guess it's for the best i never ended up getting it lol..

as for the bolded statement... really there is no game out there that is safe from hackers/glitchers.. no matter where you turn there's a glitcher or a hacker.. every single online game.. sucky reality, but true none the less.. mostly i credit it to those people who just have to be the absolute best they can be just so they're a step higher then everyone else... even if it means cheating to get up that extra step... i don't like cheating in games, i don't even like reading strategy guides on puzzle type games... i mean what's the point in even playing a game if you're going to cheat your whole way through it, or gonna have some guide to tell you exactly what to do...

That's how I feel.

The rules are designed to make the game fun. A game without rules is no longer a game. It's just stupid.

well there is one exception, in puzzle games, if i spend an hour or two at the same part, (keeping in mind if i actually knew what to do it'd take all of 2-3 minutes) i will look up just how to get past that one part... but that's only cuz i pay good money for games and i don't want to lose intrest in it just because i can't get past a certain part... it rarely happens, but sometimes i will break down and say enough is enough and find out what i'm supposed to do... but only after i've exhausted over and over, the only things i can think of doing (exploring the whole map looking for anything included lol)

thats why ps3 isnt on my list this year to many hacks and cheaters abusing the ez pull of the cord and they have uploaded hacks on there hard drives i hope they get caught so they will stop, any ways it burns me up when that hapens so i just play harder and begin to woop ther ass so they actully start to play fairly for a change its funny.. stupid online cheaters

ocarina of time? lol... i only used a strategy guide once on that game, and that was for the water temple.. I FUCKING HATED THAT PLACE WITH A PASSION  that place just pissed me the fuck off... lol i've played/beat that game so many times (used to have a n64 emulator and zelda on my computer, along with a few other n64 games) that i know it by heart, i haven't played in over a year now, and i bet i could still just go straight through the game, including most of the side quests..

but no, i was more refering to ps2 games.. prince of persia, god of war... i got stuck atleast on place on both and had to resort to strategy guides... tho god of war, it wasn't a puzzle confusing me, just how to beat the damn three hydras in the begining.. i kept beating their ass and moving to the other one, by the time i got the other one down, the first one would pop up... so i was confused.. i didn't know you had to send a spear type thing through their head lol...

you know it's always funny in killzone, someone in a pistols only match (you can only go by honor, as there is no way to actually disable any weapons) picks up the chain gun (fires 50 bullets off within just a matter of seconds, has a secondary fire rocket launcher, and it only takes 3-4 good hits of that gun to kill you, it's rare someone misses with all 50... lol) or the rocket launcher, and there i go, two pistol shots directly to the head before they can even react.. they just drop to the floor, it's a great sense of accomplishment to be able to whoop the living shit out of someone who's cheating... there is a game that i do hack if i play, but only because the only people who don't (and i mean this literally) are noobs and don't know how.. medal of honor allied assault.. but even when both parties are hacking, it still comes down to skill... the hack is a wall hack, lets you see through walls and see where both your teammates and enemies are... but you still got obstacles, it comes down to who can come around that corner firing the more accurate shots... but i got so good at that game, even if i took the hacks off, i'd still be doing pretty much just as well... i don't really play it anymore tho.. killzone replaced any FPS i had ever played before... and i'ts going to be one hard mother fucking task to make me pick up a game other then killzone when it comes to online fps..

can't fucking wait for medal of honor : airborne tho... that game just sounds amazing to me... free world enviroment.. every actual map you drop in by parachute and where you land can greatly change what you experience.. also it promises to have the most realistic 'human' behaviour for the NPC's (non-playable character, but most of us know them as enemies) that games got me horny (not really but might as well) it doesn't come out til march tho >.< fuckers... i want it now.

on killzone? or mohaa? on killzone i have a few, or had.. imdizzy (lol i made that name just for full sensitivity.. i got pretty good actually... someone starts shooting you from behind you can instantly turn around like in less than a split second and start capping them in their ass, if you got half decent aim you usually come out the winner) B.O.S.NekufCis (read it backwards) slipknotpsycho (of course) and NoobyNooberson... you'll find me on nooby the most... i've been taking a break recently, you know when you can basicly own more than half the population of the game, and i mean completely decimate their ass, you kinda need to take a break... so you kinda get outta your groove and aren't quite so good... i'm far from bragging i'm just stating facts lol.. not saying i'm the best, hell no there are people that will put me down like a rabid dog in a second.. but lets just say i'm on the upper 1/3 of the population (another 1/3 going to complete noobs and the last 1/3 going to people who aren't noobs, but aren't quite 'godly' yet..)

that i can fully agree with lol... i would even go as far to say that it's the best n64 game ever made... the one that came after it, majora's mask or w/e... that game SUCKED... i hated it..

btw, on a number of other forums, i'd get banned for even talking about this, but here they dont' seem to care... you want me to hook you up with an emulator and zelda OoT? that is of course if you don't still have it and a 64, and want to play it again.. .i don't know why but that game just makes me want to play it over and over again..

lol i quit long before i ever got anywhere near that deep into the game... just the begining was enough for me to say 'fuck this, i'm not playing this damned game anymore' deleted it from my pc (yeah, i'm a emulator user... lol at one point i had probably a good 1/4 of my harddrive taken up by emulators (which is like maybe 1mb at most) and roms (which aren't much bigger so that gives youa good idea of just how many game si had on my pc..)

k, well i can post a link here to things you'd need to download (really all you need to download is the emulator, which is basicly the 64 for your computer, and the roms, which is the game(s), or i can download them myself, zip 'em up and send em through im or to your email, your choice... either way tho i'll do it later as i'm kinda drunk, and yeah it can be kinda frustrating filtering through the dead links.. i don't really mind tho :) i want to play it again so i'll be getting it soon either way. btw, technically it's 'illegal' but meh, you face about as much risk as downloading copywrited songs on a p2p program... lol

btw, i'm not sure cuz i'ts been awhile, but n64 games i think take up a good sized space, not like anything to a computer, but through dial-up it'd take forever, so take that into consideration as well if you have dial up, if that's the case i'll either have to provide links or send to an email as my computer rarely stays running for the amount of time it'd take to transfer all that through a connection on dial up... and any time my computer decided to crap out, it'd have to restart... basicly.. you get the idea right? dial up = i can't directly transfer the info.

World of Warcraft is AMAZINGLY hard to hack. Like, you need leet super pantalones to hack it. Even when it is hacked, which is rarely, it doesn't really affect you. I've been playing since release and haven't seen ONE person hacking. People who do hack or bot get immediatley permabanned. There are some cases though were people can get in your account and steal your gear, but the GM's do a great job in giving it back within a week to two weeks.

I gotta believe game makers are losing enormous amounts of money because of all the people who stop playing their games due to hackers. It only seems logical to me that, for that very reason there should be laws against hacking games, and that hackers should not only be banned, but also reported to the authorities.

Put those punks in jail and let their buttholes get hacked by some big dude named Bubba.

WoW is easy to learn, easy to play, and easy to level. THe learning curve might be easy, but the end game is certainly not easy. I'm an undergeared player, and I can take out way geared players with ease alot of the time. And the gold sellers don't really affect the economy. The item farmers aren't that bad either. Sometimes they sell for really cheap.

And yes, that South Park episode was badass.

This is just me but: FUCK WOW, FUCK FF, FUCK XBOX LIVE, AND FUCK COPRPORATE GREED!!!

and yes I know they need some of the money to run it but whatever, give me a price with the game and the expansion pack.
