I hate the fact that we have to pay for so much like the car which is pretty expensive anyway and then we have to pay for insurance (which is extremely high for people my age (18) because we are more likely to have accidents), road tax, mot, petrol and driving lessons grrr sorry

rant over lol

lol you think you got it bad? WHEN i do finally get my liscense, i have to pay my already high insurance (16-25 they hit you hard for insurance, i've got 4 more years before i'm 25) then i have to pay high risk insurance (i got busted with weed, suspended liscense i dind't even have for 6 months, high risk insurance is part of my judgement) i have to pay 100 dollar reinstatement fee, take a 4-week drug program (think it was just under 100) so yeah... i'm pretty much screwed...

I used to be REALLY into tricking out my truck.

I prolly spent a good 2, 3 G's on accessories before I spent THAT money on weed.

Best thing I ever did ;)

Plus my truck still looks pretty good. ~

Get a Van, it's cheaper, and get a diesel, more economical on fuel, and the insurance wont be so high, then when you got a no claims bonus you can either get rid of it or sell it and get a nice car, with cheap insurance.

But always remember, passing your test dont mean you can drive, you always need the experience before you can drive properly.

But im sure your a natural CC.

Experience really is the best teacher. The more you do it, the more natural it becomes. Good luck man and keep it smoooooooth. ~

lol.. i like to show off.. but not for showing off, but that's what anyone would probably call it... i like to go fast, i like to take tight turns going fast... it's fun >.> ahh but i gotta be really fucking careful with it, more so then probably anyone here.. as you can see above, i'm not licensed to drive (just like because you have a license doesn't mean you can drive, just cuz you don't have one doesn't mean you can't ;))

Insurance is pretty fucked. I mean, i know of people who have had to pay more insurance than what they paid for the fucking car... Now, thats FUCKED in every sense of the word.

Trying to remember how much I paid for motorcycle insurance. I got rid of my bike about 5 years ago, but at that time I think my insurance was around $250 a year, which I thought was pretty kick ass. Granted, it wasn't a huge bike (it was a 500), and we live in a decent neighborhood, and the bike was fairly new, but still, twenty bucks a month seemed like a bargain. I think for the car it's more like $600/year or something (2000 Corolla, 30k miles on it).

Hustler, unless you have re-bored the cylinder [Single cylinder] then your hair dryer moped wont be a 70cc.

Just incase you dont actually know what your on about, CC stands for Cubic Centimetres, and more to the point, your hair dryer is NOT 50cc, it's 49.

Dont tell me im wrong, im an Engineer.

And i doubt you HAVE rebored it, as the cooling fins that smaller engines have wouldnt be strong enough to withhold it.

The pic i put on with this post shows you.

And reboring an engine isnt a great thing, you know why? Simply put, the engine isnt built for it.

Where insurance is concerned, in the United States, young men pay more for coverage than young women do. That's because, actuarially, the young men have a higher statistical risk/probability of having accidents. It's not so much based on sexism as it simply is on simple risk probability and statistical history. Young folks pay more for insurance because they have more wrecks. And young men have more wrecks than young women.

I'm the parent of a 20-year-old guy. And we often joke about needing to mortgage our house when his insurance bill comes in.

It's like i said before, younger drivers pay more because they are more likely to crash because they havnt got the experience essential for driving safely, and properly.

I'm getting a motorbike. Petrol is cheaper, I can go in and out of traffic. Insurance is lower, I think. A lot cheaper then cars. I'd like to get a car one day, but only when I can afford a white lambourgini diablo with 20 inch spinners and a white leather interior. WORD

My mate has a 124CC for 300 a year insurance, but he's been offered cheaper.

Yes, bikes are alot cheaper than cars, but not as economical.

It's the running of the car that costs, and diesel is the most economical.

Petrol is too, but if your doing alot of pulling away, you wont get much from a full tank. also diesel is much safer.
