There are little descriptions under each of the forums that kind of tells what is suppose to be in there. Now if people were to actually pay attention to that then there wouldn't be such a need to move threads.

Hey Psycho, I'm not one to argue with the mods, you know that, but I have to agree with c. campbell on this one. From what I've seen, there is a group that tends to hang out in the lounge and stay there. Mosts posts in the lounge tend to be directed towards that audience. Other forums have different audiences. The folks who tend to post in the lounge are very different from the folks who post in the politics forum, for example. I've seen posts, while certainly of a political nature, that have been moved to Politics but really should have stayed in the lounge due to their intended audience.

Unless a post is clearly in the wrong forum, such as a "how to grow" in the lounge, I think you guys should think twice before automatically moving it.

We could make it much easier and just call this entire board the lounge but how long do you think it would take for someone to bitch about there not being special forums.

LOL...whenever I see a request for a specialized forum it almost makes me laugh. Hell, it's all gonna get dumped into the lounge anyways........why bother?

As for the group that just hangs to the lounge.....once again.....fly lil' birds!! CC...remember when ya had some grow questions and I couldn't believe that a member with your time/posts didn't already have this info? Fly lil' bird, fly!!

There is information all across this board and maybe moving some of these threads will help to enhance some peoples experience...... That's not bad..........hmmmm, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!:D

There's nothing in the guidelines about where you post info; it's just a matter of being courteous to the other members that DO NOT want to read about Bush, etc....

I've seen political threads in the lounge where members have stated that they didn't want to see that garbage. I've also seen grow threads in the lounge where members have stated that they would be better off looking for this type of knowledge in cultivation.

At the present we leave redirects.....being courteous to the members that didn't put threads in the appropriete areas. Now I guess we could take the same philosophy and just say to hell with it.....I'll move it and to bad; find it yourself. OR we could just figure that since this member really doesn't care about the extra work created the hell with it, we'll delete threads that we feel are in the wrong areas.

I'll keep leaving redirects out of courteousity and would appreciate posts be put in the correct areas in return. Thank you very much for your cooperation.:D

I've also pointed out to grow threads to go to the cultivation section, and that's about it..:p

To be honest, this is getting a little old; the whole "I'm whining about this and that."

Like mentioned earlier, we are guests here, and if I'm not a monkey's uncle, some of you guests complain like mad hell. I wouldn't put up with that in MY house, so be thankful we have do-dads like the rep. system to keep us minons happy, not to mention a team of mods easily comparable to The Justice League. ;)

A part of me didn't really agree with the first post, either. Why would you call out Birdgirl when there's absolutely no proof it was her? Is it because she's new and you're either bitter or jelous that she's one and you're not?? Just a question, I dunno why it bugs me..

Boy, I missed a lot on this thread. (This little Birdie's been out flying in other places today.) As CannabisCampbell probably already has figured out by now, that wasn't me who moved those threads. I gather it was P4B from his response.

I'm still learning the mod ropes, Cannabis, and it doesn't always automatically occur to me when threads need to be moved into other categories quite yet. So I'm not yet terribly efficient at that, unless they're very obviously threads that belong in another category, like Legal or Medical. I can usually catch those.

Anyway, at least this time, I'm innocent as charged, but that's because I'm still getting my indexing skills up to speed. Heck, just a day or two ago, I was said to be the power-crazed villainess who went on a thread-closing rampage, too, intent on doing great harm to both RonJohn and Great Spirit. But that wasn't me, either, except for a single thread of GS's that I'd said I would close in advance of doing so.

Clearly, I've got to assume the mantle of great power that comes with this position and start making my presence known so I can live up to my developing reputation!
