Think about it, your just smoking a bowl, but that one bowl packs more of a punch than a joint, pipe or a small hand held bong and i dont know about you but one rip off of that and im good for the day. You need about .5 grams in a bowl to get high. You do the math.

not only do you not have to put 2.5 grams in a blunt, but it does not take anywhere near 0.5 grams in a bowl to get high. I roll blunts anywhere from 0.5 grams to a gram usually, and only smoke 0.1 or 0.2 grams out of a bowl each day and I get high as hell. Are you smoking dirt?

I can tell you what I believe conserves the most weed:

Dugout

Three - four packs from a dugout will get you messed... there is no wasted smoke at all, it all goes into you. 3-4 dugout bowl packs is around 1/4 of a joint.

Most wasteful I've seen was called a "Milkshake" and I'm not talking about bhang.
The "bartender" starts by taking a hit off a joint but doesn't inhale it into their lungs. Instead they slowly blow the smoke through a straw into the bottom of a glass and then removes the straw. If it's done right and the air in the room is still then the smoke stays in the glass. The glass is slowly passed to someone who then "drinks" the smoke. I've only known one person who did this and she was quite insane and thought that her ability to be "bartender" made her special. IS there another name for this ridiculous process?

thats a good point nochowder, an oversized bong can actually be LESS efficient if youre milking it every time fully, and need to finish it in two hits. Theres goign to be a bit of escapage, adn the smoke gets alittle stale. although my method on ANY bong, is milk as much as i can take in a hit. and recetnly ive been doing lots of snappers, 0 wasted smoke!

what pisses ME off, is when peoepl milk your bong, really thick and completely, by torching the bowl the entire time they hit, and THEN as soon as the smoke hits their lips practically, they go into a fit of coughing and complaining. god the kids at my school are lame.

In group smoking though.. blunts are probably the best because they evenly distribute the bud to everyone. With a bowl/bong, the first person to touch the lighter to the fresh bowl gets the advantage, and there is a higher chance that people dont know what they are doing with a bowl or a bong, and any idiot can hit a blunt and not risk ruining it for the rest of the group. So when you consider that risk, a blunt is a perfect choice :thumbsup:

As far as im concerned your right, but holding hit's is a complete no no.

It's a waste of time. 95% of THC is absorbed by the lungs instantly. a natural breath is about 3 seconds, which is by far enough time to get all THC absorbed. holding hits is a myth.

All it'll do it get you light headed from oxygen depravation, which is killing brain cells.

And scientifically, joints have the highest THC transfer rate.

i dont think blunts waste much weed at all. if you roll it tight then at most a hit (not even a big one) would be wasted from the blunt burning. in my opinion either joints waste the most because they burn so fast or bowls do just because you are putting a lighter up to the weed.

Time for me to get back to the dugout thang.

I put about 1 gram in a dugout. It got me blazed oh about 15 times. Smoke never escapes, it never cherries, and looks like a ciggy! After a while the inside becomes so resinated that you can put a flame to it and get blazed. You can hear the resin crackling away up top and it vaps the stuff near the end of the pipe!

Go buy one, they are about $20.00.

The only downside is taste...

Id say joints, thats why im a bowl girl haha but I think it's how you use the lighter that is the most important. Putting it directly on your weed just burns it up and causes too much smoke, you have to hit it with your bic from the sides until all thats left is in the bottom

i dont see the problem with putting more weed in blunts. more weed means more THC, so you will get more high. cause you can take a few hits of a bowl and feel high... or you can smoke a lot of weed and feel high as fuck. i like to get high as fuck
