1000w Cabinet?

Hola kiddies. Im pretty new to this whole scene so kinda bear with me. I just bought a c13 Grow cabinet from everyones favorite multipurpose store.

Any who, I found a new HPS light + ballast for almost nothing. When I heard it was available, i wasn't sure the wattage, thats when I bought the c-13 in antisipation. Now that I have the light, I'm realizing thats its 1000w, and probably too big for this little cabinet. Anyone have any ideas of what size minimum I would need for this 1000w light to not burn the hell out of my ladies? Any premade cabinets like the c13 I could buy that would work well? Could get two C22 cabs and stick them together. That's just about the perfect footprint for a 1k light. You'd need a good fan for active exhaust, but it's doable, since others have already done it. I think BlueBear or TheGreenFog has a double-C22. The first time I saw some pics of a double-C22, it was on overgrow.com, guy called it The Monolith. ;)

Another alternative is a HydroHut Original. They're 52" x 52" x 7 feet, also just about perfect for a 1k light. I have one of those with a 1k light in it myself, although I need to get a beefier fan if I want to run it anytime except winter.

Hey, I have the double C22, or C24 can't remember, but the measurements for each cab is 72H 47W 19D. I stuck two together with a 1K with an air cooled hood. I will try to get some picks up later on today, but in the meen while feel free to ask me some questions. The C13 with a 1K is almost impossible, you need so much venting and even then if you could ever get the temps down the light would be overkill for that size cab, you would be waisting light.

... Yeah, thats what I thought. :( The Ideal situation would be to find someone to trade me a 400w for my 1000w. I think putting 2 C22s together would be too big, and thus kinda ruin my stealthy-ness. Now when you say double, you mean one infront of the other, like take the back off one right? Still, thats super huge, and more than I really want to get into right now.
I do also have a closet, but its not much bigger... 39"x24"x7' The only good thing about this closet is ill have more head room, I can cut holes into the celing and place my odor scrubber in the attic. That way more open space in the grow spot?

And I do recall the monolith from overgrow.com, though just a little bit. I spent many a nights studing overgrow, pitty what happend to it. 'Damn Police' Anyways, get at me about this, I'd like to have this spot ready pretty soon. :) Thanks again

The closet could work just fine. If you get rid of your 1000W I would try to trade it for 2 sets of lights, a 400W and some 2ft or 3ft shop lights, because in that space you could split it into two compartments a small veg cab on top consisting of about 2FT and a flower cab on botem with the rest of the room. If you were able to grow from clone you could grow 2 and ahalf FT plants in there, about 6 at one plant PSF or do a killer SCROG or a SOG of about 12 plants. Any way that is my 2 penny's on the matter.
Also, the cab I have is one in front of the other, since you were wondering.
