There's nearly an infinite amount of things that when put into proper concept, can be considered wrong, bad, problematic, inadequate, negative, and generally not good to anything or everything on our world.
I know you've been thinking about it.
So why not use all the time and thought energy you put into the question to use in this thread.
Go ahead, let off some steam.
So Whatâ??s eating at you?
WHATS BOTHERING ME IS JUST HOW DAMN UN-UNIFIED WE ARE AS ONE WHOLE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD.....
how about you?

thats right
the way i look at it, mankind is a virus. we drain the world of all of its natural resources and in return we poison it with our by-products, giving nothing useful back to the planet. mankind has to go, at least 98%

as much as alot of people want to rid this planet of their own species, i really do not see it happening anytime soon... i mean hell, to even wipe out 50% of the people int he world you'd need some sort of super virus that can be passed along by touch, air, blood, everything, and can live outside of a host for probably atleast days... either that or a meteor... 3 billion people is alot of people to kill... it would take something massively devestating to wipe out the earth of humans, or even kill half of them... and we're talkign about devestation mankind has never even gotten close to witnessing...

that thought crossed my mind too, but when i actually think about it, if some huge ass war did break out, i figure that the initial blasting would probably only put a dent in the ammount of people we have, radiation could kill off the rest, but alot of people live many many many years after they've been exposed to radiation... and in the time it took to kill mostly everyone that had radiation poisoning, a good sized chunk of the original casualties would already be replaced by more youth...
well, atleast all of that is why i didn't include nuclear war... even durring nuclear war, there's still over 6 billion people here... it would take alot of bombs to wipe all of us out, or even most... not saying it's not possible, just doesn't seem plausable to me...

wahts bugging me......
the fact that our world is so corrupted nowadays with media and government, and how everything is monoplized so that a elite few can make a fortune while the rest of us work our asses off just to get by and we can do nothing about it, the US governments "state capitalism" consists of the "trash music" we have and the TV shows/movies that have nothing but violence and degrades people (women in particular) and all this shit, and it shapes our worlds view in a big way......
i blame the government, big corporations/subliminal advertising for 80% of today problems

I'd say this is true but we just can't get rid of it. It would be like taking away all our senses and things that make this world go round. Make this world interesting and different.
Take Equilibrium for example. Its a movie based on exactly what you want to get rid of. People are killed for feeling or thinking outside the box. Although getting rid of emotions such as greed love and envy would turn our world into 'the perfect' world or what ideally be the perfect world for us. I really doubt we really want that either.

There's nothing wrong with the World and if your the type who dwells on all the bad aspects instead of trying to help it move forward your a dead weight and your not worth keeping here anyway.

I think nuclear war could wipe us all out, but not via the explosions or radiation so much as blocking light from the sun for a decade. That'd kill all plants, and indirectly anything that relies on plants for nourishment, which is basically every other form of life. Some fungi would probably survive though, even with the sun blocked for ten years.

people that "try and make the world a better place" tend to fuck it up a lot, if you havent noticed. organized religion seems to be the root of the majority of problems..along with greed for power

Politicains that cowardly clamour towards the moral high ground instead of facing the problems that plague society, as well as the unequality and violations of human rights against women and children poverty in the world today.

You know, I have a problem with how some people spend time bitching about small things or even big things for that matter, that they don't want to fix themselves but expects others to fix them. People stopped looking at themselves for answers or solutions. Most people seem to look outwardly for the problems in the world or problems in their life.
I also do not like when parents blaming the system for negative things that happen to their children, although I understand some cases truly are the system's fault.
I don't understand why child molesters, who confess their guilt and evidence supporting it, are not sentenced to life or even death. I understand the moral arguement but why should such monsters be treated like humans anyway? What about the victims, whose lives are ruined by these sick people who are not treatable.

if you could justify putting them to death, that would mean awhole lot of other groups of people would come up for consideration of the same thing... personally, i think the death penalty is stupid... and i'll tell you why... more than likely the person you're sentencing to death, doesn't give two shits about his life anyways (if he did, he more than likely wouldn't be in that situation right?) so basicly, you're just giving them an easy way out.. make them rot in prison, that's punishment... anyone that's even spent a couple of nights in jail, could tell you just how bad it would be to know you'll never be free again and you're stuck in this cage for the rest of your life.. that's punishment..

For those of you going on about "You should ask whats right not wrong blah blah- SHUT UP You dont know whats right until you know whats wrong and then you have a shot at knowing whats the rightest path.
So according to this thread so far by my understanding...
Starting with what billionfold thinks, whats wrong with the world is "Earth has a case of the Humans"
Tis true. And besides the common fact that humans are parasitic in nature, if not viral, consuming reasources at an unpresidented rate.
HaHa Not much good publicity for our species these days huh?
And then we gotta go and start dissin on human nature.
Blah blah power, greed, love, envy.. ect..ect... Name your poison.....
But that doesnt mean the best option would be to destroy ourselves.
Yes we are capable of many devestating actions. KEY WORD: CAPABLE
Like look to the media and understand their capabilitys.
Then look to the religous organizations, the family systems, the system of LAW(and punishment), the education systems, systems of nationality and all these differnt systems of bootleg unity.
BOOTLEG UNITY!!!!!
theres so many places to place blame from situation to situation, from victim to victim...
From Capability to capability to capability to capabilty.....
RATIONALLY:
Problems were identified.
Solutions will only be met on a "If it aint broke dont fix it" method
LOGICALLY
I think the problem is not on a basis of freedom or liberty but on the basis of our ability to evolve to new capabilitys... On a larger scale.
Like how a bunch of you get caught up on common everyday events as the problems of the world.
Maby we have to evolve on a common everyday to day basis?
Now im just confused.....
Think you can bring some clarity to the topic?
Good luck.

Yes. The world is ravaged by people. That's what is wrong with it. No other species on this planet can do the nature destroying things we do. At least not at the scale we do. The only way to fix the problem is to destroy the people. Now since this is unrealistic, the only other option is to convince people not to do the things that make their lives so convenient. Driving fossil fuel using automobiles for instance. Or using airosol(sp) products. People need their material goods. People are addicted to the internet, their cellphones, their TV's, their cars, ect.
So in the long run, we're our worst enemy, as well as our best ally. God gave us a choice, this is what we've chosen.
i'd say your second solution is pretty much unrealistic too.. maybe if people lived 500, 600, 700 years they'd care a little bit more about what they're doing to the planet..... but nope, you're lucky if you live 100, and not too much is really going to change in that ammount of time... atleast that's my guess at why people know the dangers of such things and still use them... because by the time anything happens as a result of our destructive behaviors, they'll be dead...
Almost everything is wrong with our world.

Statements like this get me rattled because not everyone in the World is a big fat consumer. If I was american I would fucking hate my country, and I'll think you'll find when it comes to consuming your country takes the cake, quite a few times. Alot of countrys accross the World don't have a need for a petrol guzzler, they need a vehicle to get from place to place and if you hadn't noticed just about every country in the EU is doing something towards tackling climate change, except,...*drum roll* america. You can be american and have a problem with the World but the first place you need to look is home, and if you really cared you would be doing something about it. Nothing ever works out perfectly, but alot is being done and has yet to be done in terms of ecofriendly means of power, and I would be pissed off I'm my country blatently didn't give a shit like the US. Your more concerned with bombing the little brown people and securing their oil so that they can't sell it too you. Bush even wanted to kill a shit load of polar bears so he could drill for oil in the fucking ice caps. All I can say is, if anybody thinks Bush is the leader of the freeworld, count me the fuck out.
