Everything would be how it is now. I know we're bored and we need threads but threads like these really makes marijuana seem like crack or something LOL! I can't really see anybody having a different life without marijuana other than not having it..I just wouldn't use any "drugs" at all.

I might be too. Weed really came in at a low point of my life and helped me thru a lotta shit (maybe not a good thing, but it worked and I'm okay now.) I know I'd have NONE of my friends, all my relationships with people would be different, my school would be different, basically every single thing in my life would be altered.

Orangeman I disagree babe, cannabis is a different world (not in a crack head way though) and the people you meet are completely different people then straight edge people.

Well I was basically speaking about people who mainly use it for recreational purposes like me. Of course if people use it medicinally or use it for one serious reason or another maybe their lives would change but I seriously doubt anything would be different about my life because honestly I really don't need it but I just love that extra touch it adds onto everything. Nothings boring when you're on marijuana :D.

yeah, i agree with you disagreeing with orangeman. i didnt mean it in anyway like crack. i just meant, would you be in the same position you are now if you never smoked weed, would you have the same friends, or did you make new ones when you started toking?

Inevitable. There isn't really any way that I wouldn't end up smoking..
My whole immediate family was/is a stoner at some point.
Theres nothing to do in my town, so all the kiddies seek entertainment through chemicals.
And for some reason, even when I was a toddler, I just... knew... I'd expirement. There was no question about it.

The only possibility I can think of is if I had moved before I was introduced to it. And if that happened, I'd most likely be dead.

It is unfortunate that cannabis has mishaped some peoples lives but in most of those cases it was likely the lesser of any other evil. Some people are more suceptable to the influence of intoxicants and in most societies throughout history has mostly only amounted to 2% of any given population. Cannabis is a drug and like any other, even asperin, it must be respected. Sure its a lot of fun to get high on pot, but its not all fun and games for med-users like myself. Yeah and I can say that with a straight-face once but not twice, I'm high and thats funny as shit, so I can't help but giggle and that really makes it hard to convince someone that my need is legitimate. I have never found a drug that my spirit couldn't kill, and Ive done 'em all. Cannabis does so much for me, helping me through some tough times as a troubled teen, fighting depression and later as I developed a career fighting job related stress. Now it gives me relief from intense pain from chronis arthritis so that I can carry on doing what I love, running my own successful business.

i toataly agree with ya babyface. my life would be toataly altered. i know when i dident smoke for six months i was way different. i dident feel like it though. then i smoked and suddenly everything made sence again and a rush of feelings and memories came back to me reminding me why i love herb.
i was alot more irritable and i dident react to things the way i normaly would have. but i do believe there is a individual balance people should find.

I didn't really start using til last year and I got by before that so I dunno. But I also find weed focus's me in my everyday life because I have things I need to get done before I want to indulge sometimes...

I was thinking the other day about making a thread like this...but I forgot lol.

Like someone said...there was really no way I wouldn't end up smoking...everyone from my high school still smokes including most of my close friends, kids I played basketball with, kids that played football, the smart kids, the dumb kids. Marijuana became pretty accepted at my school...(not when I first started, but I guess everyone figured since someone like me smoked [sports, good grades, really cool person jk], that it couldn't be so bad. I dunno, maybe not, but I did start before most in my grade.) Then I went to college where it was VERY accepted.....so for me, life without the trees was never really an option LOL.

I would be a lame ass faggot like the rest of the world that does not smoke weed is like if I never smoked but, luckily I am a full fledged pot head that can think for himself and will never comply with Christian ideals.
People that do not smoke weed are too uptight man, if they only knew the truth.

I wouldnt have a job, because i wouldnt be able to drive. [Problems with my knee]

I wouldnt be comfortable sitting standing laying or floating... [my back]

And if you've ever had seriously bad headaches.. well migrains you dont even want to imagine what it's like to have one all the time. If i didnt smoke throughout the day i'd have one constantly, and at the moment i know for a fact i would never be able to commit suicide, but if i didnt have weed [which is the only thing that helps with any of my problems] i'd be in constant agony, and seriously concidering suicide.

This is why England needs to at least allow cannabis for medicinal use.

Without it i'd be a no body in constant pain, and thats not a life. It's unneeeded suffering, and tbh, i wouldnt wish it on anyone. spesh the head aches and the back problem. [broken]

My life would be hell! When I was 3 years old, a playmate tried, rather vigorously, to kill me with a hammer. I have dents in my skull and had almost constant headaches ranging from a little constant nagging pain, to repeating waves of pain that came crashing through my skull, to plain old migraines with visual distortions. I was straight for about a year (job issues) and finally my boss told me to see a doctor. Got scanned and xrayed and all- NOTHING IS WRONG WITH ME!!! I just hurt all the time without pot! So I saw ANOTHER doctor- a cannabis specialist and got (semi)legal. I found pot when I was 19 and it took a bit to connect the pain free periods with toking! After I finally figured it out, I did my best to keep toking on a daily basis. As long as I smoke pot- I'm normal. I get the occasional tension headache, but NOTHING like it was before! I have a very patient and caring personality and I believe that pot had a major part in forming who I am. Pain deforms your personality, makes you snappish and angry. Pain ages you and distracts you from the important things in life. I don't think I would like the person I'd be without pot. I'm a toker for life! - Granny
