the other night me and my buddies were just chillin at a party cuz everyones home for thanksgiving break and we left 30 beers in the fridge and come back like 10 min later and theres only 4. So we find a 1.75 liter bottle of Vladamir Vodka:eek:  but we pass it around till its gone. Then we decide to drive around and smoke a blunt cuz there was a bunch of fuckin moochers there. We all had a pretty good buzz goin and then it happened.....the fuckin blue lights. they said we were speedin but in all honesty i believe they saw 4 kids in a car at midnight and decided to pull us. The driver was on probation and my buddy in the passenger seat already has 2 underage consumptions, so one more and hes in jail. and me and my buddy were in the back.(clean records) We had been drinkin and had some straight orange weed, and all the cop said was "its obvious you all have been drinkin. i suggest you find a place to land the ship" and just let us go like that......sorry for the long thread but i thought i would share how lucky we were. ive since decided to quit drinkin:rasta:

lol dude, there's two things i'm thinking here... one you fit the description (car, amount of people ect) of someone they were looking for that night, and really wanted them, (i.e. stolen car, or robbery maybe? same shit happened to me, cops tried to pin a robbery on me, my bro and a friend.. well that's another story) and upon approaching your car, they realized you weren't what they were looking for... (if this is true, consider yourself very lucky) or, they just felt like being nice and letting yal go, thinking you pose no real danger (either yal didn't seem very drunk, or the cop was an idiot lol) probably because of upcoming holiday season..

well in all honesty, me and my buddies are pretty familiar with the cops, ive never been arrested but they always bust the parties and call us by name and shit, cuz they HAVE to be IN our school for at least 4 hours a day(we live in a really small town with no more than 15 cops) but this was a new cop, cuz believe me if he recognized chaz(the driver) we would have been fucked, and every cop knows him LOL

Good decision.
Bad decision. A near experience of getting caught is no reason to up and leave drinking entirely.

Man up, pussy. People in my hood would kick the shit out of you for even suggesting that.

I'm not bashing your decision.. but in a couple of weeks, you'll realize the stupidity of what you just said and just chalk it up to still being a little scared after the near-caught experience.

You'll drink with the same friends you drank with last weekend. And you'll enjoy it. I'm telling you man, I've told myself I'm going to stop drinking a lot of times, but it never does work.

Are you stupid because you're drunk, or drunk because you're stupid?

I was joking about my area being badass. I live in the suburbs of Cincinnati.

But seriously, you will be drinking again within a few weeks. That's all I'm trying to say.

i'm afraid i'm with aristotle on this, almost anyone who drinks, swears it off often (whether it be weekly or monthly) but within just a few days, maybe a week, of swearing it off, there you are again, with that bottle in your hand...

I guess what he's saying is that it's like when you drink too much and puke so you swear off drinking but a few months later you get offered a beer and you find no reason to turn it down. It happens to the best of us, but maybe you'll have the will power to over come it :)

you've got mad good luck man!

Deciding to quit drinking is always a good decision, period.

Deciding to start drinking again is the bad decision.

lol i take it you're against alcohol? yeah, i grew up with a very dysfunctional parent (it's actually my grandparents, but the way i grew up thinking, the one who raises you is your parent, and since he and my grandma are the ones that raised me, as much as it makes my stomach turn, he's my father, and a better one then my birth father is..) heavily addicted to alcohol, i hated it with a passion, even some of the things i said to him were to make him feel worthless for drinking, but when i got about to age of being able to drink legally, i started drinking as well.... hate alcohol all you want, until something legal rivals it's ability to impair you in a similar way (namely, marijuana) it's here to stay, and many many people are goign to turn to it, even me, in desperation... someone who grew up hating alcohol more than any other one thing in life...

I must agree with people who say that not drinking is the way to go. That said, I drink, sometimes often. Doesn't mean it's a good thing because I do it.

i believe that drinking is cool and all unless it's abused and used wayy too much. then it becomes a problem..
or if your driving at anytime...or if your underage and get caught by a cop

as smart as this kid may or may not be for swearing off alcohol (I give it a month, tops), he apparently hasn't noticed there might be some hypocrisy to not also swearing off mj, seeing as how he was also high at the time of the incident.

But if you're immature and kinda stupid, it barely matters which drugs you choose to use.

dmo, seriously, I applaud you for your choice to give up alcohol. I just didn't think it was the most relevant lesson to be learned...

Almost DUI

Well...better luck next time, maybe try driving the car next go
around. I'm kidding take that as a sign to keep your ass out of
a car while being fucked up. (this coming from a DUI offender)
I have a few DUI's and well I can only blame my own stupidity
for all of them.

That's what makes a good police officer, he used his disgression, he dealt with the problem, in a civilized manner, and everyone left happy. Nice guy.

And well done with the quitting drinkin, it's not really that fun compared to being stoned.
