So if tobbacco companies put additvies in there tobbaco like rat posion sodium hydroxide and blah blah blah *Place random ingredient here* then wouldnt that be illegal or wrong like pouring these things into a water reservoir? i mean if tobbaco is so bad then why dont they make it illegal.

tobacco itself is not bad. the big corporations fucked it up in the name of profit like they fuck up everything else. half of what is in cigarettes is not even tobacco, its called recon, which is made of paper dipped in a soup of nicotine and additives to make the nicotine much more addictive.

the difference there is water is vital to survival and tobacco isnt. you cannot just decide i dont want to to drink water but you can easily decide i dont want to smoke. keepem legal, it is your choice always the cigarettes have never put themselves on anyones lips and i dont think they light themselves either.

no,,, but most people who smoke started at an age were they have little to no comprehension of the damage,,,young people who still need adult guidance... You do need water to sustain life but once you are hooked on nicotine it is far from a mere choice...

Nicotine is a dangerously addictive drug. That's what's wrong with tobacco.
Yeah, they do add things to tobacco, but they add things to everything. Read the ingredients of anything you put in your body, and there will be filler ingredients. Well, a number of things at least. I'm sure the tobacco company has a reason for adding more chemicals, however evil that reason may be, you know?

If I ever smoked cigs I would always buy my own tobacco and just roll, it's so easy.
it is still a mere choice im afraid, thousands of people who have smoked for years and years quit every day. thousands more take their place. kids are told that stuff causes cancer and is very addicting as early as fourth grade, at least i was, and that was about 10 or 12 years ago and society hasnt really gotten softer on tobacco since then. they all know the damage unless they start at about 6 years old. let people have their vices, no one has to do it. i will say this i dont think people should be profiting off of it, money should go back into paying the workers and paying for production, not lining the pockets of evil billionares. throw that chunk to the poor or something, make it useful at least. but that wont happen. anyhow it should be legal for people do what they want with their bodies

people have smoked for hundreds if not thousands of years. Someone just got smart and saw an easy buck. In some older cultures, light smoking is fine, but it's been exploited and mass produced into the black plauge. I smoke and wish I never started. Once I quit, I'm saving up for a cruise.
