would i get any bud????

Yes, you would get some bud, as long as you have a female plant, but you wouldnt get alot. Say, another 5 of those 20 watt CFL's and you'd be well on your way to a better harvest. The more lights, the more lumens, and the more wattage the more bud, the more potent bud. And it STILL works out cheaper than buying.

my budget gro consisted of two 48" double fixture with GE daylight tubes (6500k) and the flower box had 2 double 48" fixes with kithen and bath tubes (3000k) and 16 23w cfl's (3000k)

these were working well, but i recently got a 400whps, and i found 2 400w mh yesterday for 40$ (for both! i love fleamarkets!) i'm going to get a couple of ignitors and turn these suckers into hps's!!

i can't find conversion bulbs any where; i won't order online (paranoia) which is why i want a couple of ignitors, the only difference between mh and hps.

Im a Marine Engineer by trade, and also a boat builder, boat fitter, and i do the electrics.

I got my 250 watt MH's and HPS's... i did have a bigger grow, with 1000 watters but i didnt need that much wattage.
