Yes, yes you do.
My suggestion: write your will and make sure that you leave all your weed to me when you die.
Peace out man, and remember: We all gotta die sometime.

no one dies from testicle cancer. its got like a 99 percent survival rate.

can you get medical marijuana if you get testicle cancer? if so then it wouldn't be all that bad.

I'll just pretend that post was a joke. It was a joke/kidding right?
Even if cancer of the testicles has a 99% survival rate, there is still the 1%, if those are the true stats...I haven't checked myself. Also, survival of many cancers depends what stage they are caught at. My dad was stage 3 when DX'd. (not testicular cancer tho)
Whatever, just please don't wish yourself cancer, I've had a female cancer and it wasn't much fun.

PS.
If you really are hurting, make an appointment with your family doctor as soon as possible. mmm'K?

You have a right nut? Thats not normal.

LOL, do you only have a left one WhosCarl?
Testricular pain is normal buddy, just sit down with some ice on it and take some ibeprophens. It can happen from sleeping on it wrong, putting pressure that's too small to notice by prolonged enough to hurt it later, being aroused for a long time the not coming... Just do a delicate check for any small lumps and ice it in the meanwhile.

Found out a kid at my school has cancer...spread from his spine to his lungs, he probably isn't going to live out another year. :( It's really sad.
And I hate it when your nut hurts...like it'll hurt real bad for a few seconds. Usually only happens when I skip wanking for a day though..hehe.

You're the same reason marijuana will never become legal :p.

Sorry to hear about your school colleague, Phoenix. Did you by any chance hear what type of cancer the boy has? I'm curious if it's one called Ewing sarcoma. If it is--and since it has metastisized--that is indeed not a good thing. I'm sure his parents are beside themselves.
Aeon, please go to the doc if your left one keeps hurting. Just remember that achy nuts don't necessarily mean cancer.

I couldn't find any odd lumps on them, but the right one is the only one that hurts and it also seems to hang a bit lower.

One nearly always hangs a bit lower on a huge majority of guys, Aeon. Not a danger sign, that one. Just nature's asymmetry.
there is actually a point for that if they hung perfectly even they would smash together and ill definitely take non symetrical balls over balls that get smashed together when i walk. thats what i have heard anyway and seems logical

You should go to the Doctors and have it checked out. Some times you get an infection in it and they will almost double in size. To the point the pain is so much you cant walk. And if you dont you could loose them. And if that is what you have all they do is give you a pink liquid like cough syrup. No lie man. Get it looked at.

what makes things more difficult, is that im only 17 and still live with my parents. so it would be really awkward having to explain to them why i need to go to the doctor.

I'm not sure, but apparently there are only a few cases of it in the country/world something.
That is hearsay, but from a neighbor of his that is pretty close with his parents. And yeah, i'm pretty sure they're torn up, he's down in Texas at a clinic right now (we're in IL). I was gonna tell him I'd hook him up with some stuff for medical use ;) but I just got robbed, so I don't think that's gonna happen.
He's in my friend's first period, and they were going around saying in spanish what they ate for breakfast, and he said painkillers...haha.

Aeon, speaking as the parent of a young man, we're well aware that you guys have testicles, you know. We did change your diapers when you were babies, and we watched your bodies grow up. And even if you feel awkward about telling them you need to go to the doc, you'll have to trust me on this. They'd much rather know up front that you're having a symptom that's concerning you. Parents are funny like that. Just say "I have a personal 'male' situation that's sore and is worrying me." They'll get the picture.

Well, glad to hear, even if it's hearsay (good use of that word, by the way!) that he's in the care of a clinic. Let's hope he's in Houston at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. That's where I'd want a child of mine to be if he had cancer like that.
As far as your idea's concerned, Phoenix, if he's got cancer that has already metastasized to his lungs, he may not be in any real shape to smoke. If you get a chance to talk to him down the road, just make him aware that you're a pro-cannabis type, opening the door to let him express further interest. If he were open to cannabis and were a candidate for it, he really probably needs special medical strains and would likely do better if he were set up with a vape or some method of eating it. My guess is he's going to be put on a very rigorous course of chemo and/or radiation treatments, and he may well do most of that as an inpatient. Hope you will get to talk to him sometime!

For the love of god, go to a doctor man!!!!!!
I for one have doubt you have testicular cancer, because you'd have severe back pain before you experience anything in your testicles. But please, go to a doctor anyway! It'd save you a lot of trouble and I speak from experience. If you indeed have cancer, you want them to detect it early and not in the advanced stages. They detected mine in the advanced stages, luckily before any of it spread to my brain.
I'm sure your parents will understand. This is your health and you are at right at the age where you can get testicular cancer. Don't let shame stop you, because the shit I'm going through is a lot more painful than shame.

hahaha. I just want to laugh, because even with marijuana it is that bad.
Even when you recover, there is always a possibility of remission. And the recovering in itself is nasty. Ever wonder how you can feel cold and have a burning sensation at the same time? That's the feeling of chemotherapy for you. Not to mention the nausea, low energy and increased rate of infection. I'm sure you don't want to spend 5 hours a week in a chair being pumped with cisplatium through an IV. After all that chemotherapy, your veins becomes useless and your arms full of scars from needles and blood getting drawn and opiates stains from all the pain killers you would've had at your stay in the hospital.
It's no fun at all, and frankly if I had a choice, I would never smoke marijuana again if I could go back in time and have it detected early. What I went through, at times felt like hell on earth. I'm glad it's almost over, I finished my last cycle and after 4-6 weeks and a surgery, I can completely get on with my life.
So please, go have your doctor check your nuts because I wouldn't wish an enemy to experience what I have.

Wow, you really have testicular pain? How old are you? I'm not saying that age matters but I'm just asking because in the past I also had pain down there. Eventually it went away though and it never showed up again and everything works fine and normal ;).

Here's a link for you, Aeon, in case you want to read it and show it to your dad. It is an uncommon cancer, but you're right in the precise age group of young men who get that, as is THCBongman and, no doubt, XCrispi's friend, too, and that's why anyone your age needs to be checked if there's anything unusual going on down there. Can't be too careful with the " 'nads," as my son would say.

All men ought to get in the habit of doing monthly testicular self-exams, which, like monthly breast exams for women, are easier to do in the shower when you're soapy and wet because that slickness heightens your ability to feel lumps or unusual swollen places.
Is your doctor a man or a woman, Aeon? Whichever it is, be prepared for him to palpate the area with his/her hand. Good luck, and please keep us updated on what you find out!

I'm fully aware of the fact my doctor (which is a man) is going to have to palpate my manly bits. and its a very unpleasant thought, but i'm not the only one who's had to go through it. it's going to be a very awkward experience...but i'll just do my best not to make eye contact with him, and hope it doesnt take too long. i just hope its nothing serious above all.
birdgirl73
11-22-2006, 04:17 AM
He'll be very discreet about it, I promise. Remember, they've seen and felt everything, so nothing seems awkward or unusual about that exam to the doc. He'll put you in a reasonably warm room and will also warm his hands/gloves before he touches you. I hope it's nothing serious, too!

Well. I don't have cancer. It's just some kind of minor infection and they've put me on anti-biotics. But no opiate painkillers, much to my disappointment. oh well.
