Whats up guys. I'm new here. And I've had this problem with weed ever since the first time I smoked. Every time I get high, the back of my head gets really hot. So much that it's actually unpleasant and it sort of ruins my high. Does this happen to any of you guys? And do you know why it happens? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The front of my head gets hot, but it's not unpleasant. It could be a psychological thing you and I are experiencing. Just try to chill out, and explain to yourself that it's only the weed, etc...

haha its just another example of your mind playing tricks on you,. people on here say sometimes it feels like your heart is going to explode (and it never will) you just gotta calm down breathe and say its just the weed and itll go away.
Yeah, it probably is just your brain playing tricks on ya. Doesnt happen to me, although sometimes when i do a line of coke i get a hot head... and then it goes cos my whole face goes numb LOL.
Stick with weed, and chill with it. Appriciate it and you should be set.

Drink some water. Your head heating up like that means you are slightly dehydrated.

That's odd... I drink a lot of water, and my head gets hot, but not in an unpleasant way.

I have done that after some big GB's one minute I am fine the next literally sweat dripping off me like I was in a full sprint. But it quickly goes away.

Yeah, if you look at me like directly into my eyes try to picture one side of my brain, it feels like sometimes it's frozen without the coldness or hot. It happens to me too, I accept it as being apart of the high and it really doesn't bother me and eventually goes away if you ignore it long enough. Just smoke until you get total self-control. Then you'll control how much you trip and how much you just chill :).

Its probably all in your head. One time i could control what i was smelling..no joke. I would convince myself by saying i smelt like something a few times in my head..then i really could. I smelt pizza, weed(probably cause it was right next to me :P) i could smell burnt rubber...anything. It was great

I get the hot head. I think it generally just tends to sway with your thought patterns. My head gets hot and stuff, and many times my body gets very very warm and i can feel the blood pumping through my body. I understand how it can get annoying. Usually i just sit down and try to chill out, eat, take a shower, sleep, draw, or listen to music in order to calm my symptoms down. Good luck man, sorry your highs are ruined by this. But when i get stoned and i do something to calm my symptoms, they usually morph into something more pleasant, such as my brain feeling like its being split into two.

I think I know what you mean I get it occasionally. One common thing seems to be when you feel there is a (rubber) band round your head.
