Thanksgiving was just another Thursday for the past five years. The same old bad November weather, and the entire family being fake in front of eachother annoyed me. The day began with Mother Dearest freaking the fuck out trying to get the house clean. Soon, around four, guests would arrive. I was expected to mingle and 'work the croud' with my sister. My sister would come back for a few days from college for the event. She is just my sister, who cares?

I started smoking weed last summer, this is my first Thanksgiving since smoking the ganja.

I am so excited for Thanksgiving this year. My sister is showing up with her boyfriend, and I can't wait to spend time with them. It will be good to see my family, and talk about my college visits. The weather is starting to come to a close, as winter finally sets in. I can't wait for the first snow, we have had a few frosts thus far. I can't wait for the food though, that's the biggie. My sister and her boyfriend are planning on making enough food for 20+ people, but I think that only 10 or so will be showing up. LEFTOVERS!

So anyway, I'm completely sober right now, and I am planning on at least 80% sobriety for the big Turkey Day! I would like to have the munchies though... that would be amazing!

So, that was my little take on t-day. What's going on with you guys this fine Thursday?

Oooooo, I forgot all about showing up at Thanksgiving dinner high. I'll go out back and hit a few bowls and come back in eating everything xD. I can't wait now, I wonder how many plates I'll fix.

You need to get someone to pick you up a Dugout (Tobacco Taster). Those are great for 'stealthy' occasions!

i don't think i'll be able to smoke during thanksgiving. i am going to KC to my brother in law's sister's house and the chances of me sneaking away for a smoke are pretty unlikely. i won't even really get to smoke on my birthday since its the day before and we are leaving that night.

Yea man last year I went down to Ohio for T-Day to my uncles. My dad drove and I brought along 2 joints so they wouldnt smell. We were there only 2-3 days I think so it was good enough for me. As everyone was watchin football or NASCAR right before we ate I took my cousin who is a year younger then me, and I just found out she smoked too.

We took a walk around her neighborhood but in a part thats being constructed and smoked. It was sweet because this was the first time I smoked with someone within the family, it just started snowing. And the biggest dinner of my life was put before my eyes. It was sweet.

That sounds amazing. I love finding out people within the family smoke. I want to get my cousin (who stopped smoking because of the police in his town) down here for Thanksgiving, and show him a good time. :rasta:

I'm not worried about being stealthy. The house I'm at has a forest in the backyard. We usually go back there anyways so I can go back there and smoke a few times and come back high. I have shades to hide my eyes but I don't really think that'll be needed lol.

Best thing about Thanksgiving is getting high hahaha..and drunk of course. My boyfriend and I are going to go to my moms house and eat with my grandparents at my mom...probably fairly early in the day. Not a huge deal with so few people....but my mom, my boyfriend, and I will most definitly be getting high...thats the best way to do Thanksgiving. I want to cook some dank ass food....
The next day we are having a party at my moms house though with a bunch of people...and then we are walking downtown because there is a big festival thing going on...hundreds of people...and a night parade and stuff. We are going to get trashed and go.
:) sweeet.

Dammit, I wanted to get high this thanksgiving, but I kinda can't cause of lame ass drug testing.

We aren't doing much, just me, my mom and dad and a thanksgiving dinner. At least I think. We don't wanna go to my grandma's this year, she never has it, and everyone kinda...hates her, so like, we don't wanna bother.

A lovely Thanksgiving doobie sounds like a wonderful idea to me, and if I had some within my reach, I might just take the risk and smoke it. I say that because I dread the fact that people are going to be bugging me to eat more food than I want all day long--and because we are having the holiday at my aunt's house this year. My aunt's a wonderful, hysterically funny person. But a gifted cook she isn't. So the munchies might make it easier to make a good show of eating a lot!

We are doing Thanksgiving at our house this year. Again. :) I'll be making the works. Turkey, cornbread and sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes with brown sugar, cinnamon and toasted marshmellows, corn casserole, greenbeen casserole, homemeade cranberries and rolls and bread and of course, pies for dessert. I'm still working on appetizers, I want good stuff.

So, our house on Thanksgiving is Open House. People come and go all day and I get to change in to my jammies when I get that too fat feeling.

My house is the most laid back so I prefer to cook and stay here.:stoned:

Hahah god that sounds like a dream come TRUE.

If it weren't for my grandparents, it totally could be true.

...Not that they are uptight...they just might be frightened hahaha.
My grandpa wants Medical Marijuana, my Grandma thinks its a good idea.
My dad told me to get medical.

Why does my family rock? Well...none of us are conservative in the least! <3

That sounds amazing, Tootsie!! Do you cook it all yourself? I'm impressed. On the years past when I'd hosted it at my house, which has been the norm for the last few years, I've done the turkey (which I generally do myself) and ham, which I outsource to the HoneyBaked folks. Then I do cornbread dressing, gravy and cranberries of various kinds. And, if I have the bandwidth, a couple of pies. Then everyone else brings the rest. I cannot imagine making a meal of that volume you're talking about. You must be very, very good in the kitchen. I wish I lived in your part of the country! I'd definitley stop by just to be amazed at your productivity!
