I'm actually not sure how to ask the question exactly the best way.

I know it's a pretty vague question but I'm a newbie and not personally growing, just kind of curious about the setup.

Relatively how much light is the norm for an indica type grow during vegetation. Would this be best measure in watts or lumens and if so, is there a "norm?"

Assuming this was an indoor grow, say in 22 gallon garbage cans like some have done. The inside covered with myler with and each plant getting it's on light.
