You have a party and the neighbors don't even realize it.

You talk about "good grass" and you're referring to someone's lawn.

Your back goes out more than you do.

You quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who walks into the room.

You are proud of your lawn mower.

Your best friend is dating someone half their age... And isn't breaking any laws.

You would rather go to work than stay home sick.

You no longer think of speed limits as a challenge.

People call at 9 pm. And ask, "Did I wake you?"

You send money to PBS.

You know what the word equity means.

You can't remember the last time you laid on the floor to watch television.

You get into a heated argument about pension plans.

The music your parents always hated is now played on the classic rock station.

Good thread, CityBoy!! I enjoyed that. I got tears in my eyes laughing at the "Your back goes out more than you do" line!

You know you are getting old when you hurt your self doing nothing.......

My last 2 injurys were sneezing, and grabing for a door knob

Good for you, Bongster! Glad to hear it. Dave and I have us a date planned, too, but it's just dinner and a movie. Time for a little mommy-daddy time for us, too . . . . and right now, he's always intent on working calories into that as a part of his plan to fatten me up. (Which is working.) Have fun!!!

Instead of two days... a bruise now takes 2 or 3 weeks to go away.

You know you're getting old when the only thing you can think about is death and age.
