Hello GreensShamen
I too grow in the closet,I cut a hole in the ceiling and installed an aircondition
vent and connected it to the center air unit to keep the closet cool.My grow closet is in the spare room and my girl and the 2 cats and one dog are the only ones that live here.I dont have alot of poeple come over.Iam a carpenter
so working with wood and things are easy for me.I replaced the bi-fold doors
with plywood and cut in a door.I installed two dark room vents in the door for fresh air.One high and one low.If I can get this dam KEY-CAD to let me post the drawing of the vent I will. They are easy to make and light proof too.I cut a hole to one side of the door for air intake to the cool light shade and exhausted it out the ceiling into the attic. If you have just a door to your closet you can get a dark room vent and install it in the door to vent the closet .If any one ask your venting the closet. You cant tell how the vents are made from the pixs but they are easy to do.:rasta:

They actually sell baffled lightproof louvres for darkrooms. Here's a link:

I had to use two of those with a 6" 440 CFM centrifugal fan to provide enough airflow.

Hey GreenShamen
I couldnt get Key-Cad to work,so heres a drawing I just made. It's a cross section of the vent. You can build it to the size you want.Paint all the peices
back and caulk all the jonit.I have a 3"x3" muffle fan that puts out 25 CFM'S
mounted to the bottom vent blowing into the closet.Hope you can use it.

Hey GreenShamen
Glad I could help,No I dont have a grow thread, cause I'am rebuilding the closet set up and putting in a 400 watt light and 4" can fan for the light. After it's done and I do one more soil grow,I'am setting up my DIY hydro unit.I'am still in the planning stage of building a grow cab with a clone & seedling on top and veg on the bottom.Clones on top go in the veg on the bottom and then when they are ready to flower they'll go in the closet to finish.Clones and in the cab and flower in the closet.
Peace Everybody

hey shamen - I'm building a flower cab at the mo, I've made a light proof vent similar to one above but a bit simpler cos the cab is in a dark corner and I run the lights during the day, it's also mounted on top of the cab. have a peek, I was gonna paint the inside black but it works great as is.
