Ok, I've been smoking all day, every day for about a year now, and I think it's physically starting to take it's toll. I realized it was a problem when I woke up and stayed awake for 3 hours. I was very cold, sweating on and off, and I even vomited last night (after trying to smoke away the pain). I need to quit, and I know it's a problem, but my question is should I ween myself off it, or just quit cold turkey? I won't quit for good, but I really need to get my body in full working order, again, as I hate vomiting from not being high :(

Just quit, you don't need to ween. It ain't heroin or benzos. At least from my experience, when I tried the weening when I smoked a little, I wouldn't get as high as I wanted and just blazed like a madman all over again, which is what I was trying not to do.

Everyone's different, though. Good luck to you on your break. What have you been doing for the past year besides smoking pot?

Don't let the weed have power over you.
The longer you submit, the longer you're avoiding a problem with a negative beleif.
At least, this is what I'm reading in this self-help book.
Interpretation of the world is all just a thousand little recordings you've thought up when you were young. All you need to do is re-record your thoughts, digging around for any leftover expirience-negativities.
..sorry.. I'm really getting into the conscious realization of introspection.

You shouldn't be smoking weed if you have this kind of reaction from not having it. If you can't handle a drug (not being able to feel normal without it is the same thing) then it isn't for you.

do not let the weed control you man, have a little will power. either that or your not actually suffering from withdrawls, but came down with a case of bronchial pneumonia; symptons include chills, chest pains, coughing, spitting of phlegm, weakness, fever, head ache, nausea, vomiting and......diarrhea *dun dun dunnnnnnnn*

if you stop smokeing for a small amount of time, even if its just a week or two, when you smoke again its like when you just started smoking, you apreciate the high more, its soooooooooooo good

"Withdrawals?"

NO

Its impossible for those "withdrawals" to be caused by weed.

Are you sure you aren't smoking crack?

Are you sure you don't have some sickness that gives you nausea? Some people have actually died from not smoking, choking on their vomit cause of some sickness.
