Whats up everyone?

Well after spending a lot of money, time and work here is my room.

Its a new location, but pretty much the same as the last house. Its in a basement w/ a fire place in the next room. I put up a wall (drywall and insulated), ran a 30 amp circut for the lights, a 20 amp for appliances and a 15 for fans ect.

The grow space is 9'x15'x7 1/2'. The room is sealed and painted white. I am running Co2 and have the dehumidifier built into the wall so heat stays out.

Heres some of the specs:
-2 1000 watt hortilux's on 4' movers
-I am using Coco Coir
-2 4'x5' trays that will have 6+ plants a piece
-each tray will have a 5'x5' screen above them
-window unit, heater, humidifier and dehumidifier
- I used insulated ducting because it cools much better and it silent

-The strain is all Sour Bubble Bx3 from Bog seeds

-Nutes are GH Lucas Additives are Calmag during Veg and Big Bud during flower

Heres the pics :stoned:

Good to read some recent post by you, make sure you do a journal. Also, I noticed you are using the GH Lucas formula, I posted the formula on another thread in this forum and some folks have some questions and perhaps you can add to what I have been saying about it. Any tweeks, or adjustments that you have made since using it.

Ah Snoop, Ive been looking forward to your next thread. I am doing a recirculating DWC setup in December, much inspiration came from you. But what happened to the picture quality?!

What are the plans this time around?

Nice to see your still hear racer. You know I love DWC but I want to try every type of hydro so I can choose w/ one to stick with. I still have my mother in a 5 gallon bubbler and she pumps out a lot of clones.

Here is some new pics w/ better quality.

were does the dehumidifer blow to. dosn't it suck your co2 out I would take it out of the wall normaly you only need them at night(at least were I am at) wich would double as your heater.

u g u- the dehumidifer is sealed in the wall. I'm not gonna run CO2 w/ the dehumid. on (on 10 mins a hour). I also want to have a humid room and stilll be at 77-79 F(heater). I dont run all the equiptment at once..its timed to keep numbers straight. There would be no point in running CO2 if everything else is'nt optimal. So yea..thats how that works.

Everthing is rollin along. Im taking the last batch of clones tonight and have 15 rooted and growing. I am making a small veg room for my mama and her clones. So about 2 weeks until flower :D

Peace.

Its good in therory always nice keeping added heat out, the only problem with it is In order for the dehumidifier to work you have to have the exhausted dry air come back to the room if it is just blowing the dry air out you basicly have an exhaust fan that cost you what an ac would cost to run.

Ok if I had to run AC (witch I wont for the next 4-5 months) I would time the dehumid to run 10 mins a hour. The a/c would creep up but never high enough to get mold. I thought this out well before installed. I got th idea from blazeoneup at IC. I apperciate the input but I have asked myself these things when the room went up. Take care :smokin:

So I just couldn't leave your dehumidifier alone I ran into blazeoneup over at advanced nutrients forums and had to ask him about how the dehumidifier worked without venting back in the room and I was right he does vent his back to the room. I am not trying to bust your chops just trying to help somebody out if they are doing something wrong so if you have it set up right sorry but you gave me a vauge explanation so I got the full details.

Blazeoneup "quote"
No thats not a vent uner my dehumidifier and yes you are right. I have my system setup, It took me a while to get it right. Let me explain how i done this because it may not make since to some

First off i built the ace wall to rid the heat from the lights this is a winter crop so cool the lights with outside winter air is nice. My dehumidifier is also the type that pulls air from the front and pushes the dry air out the back, So yeah if you just setup like me on that and dont do what i have done your basically pulling air from your room and blowing it out...

What i done is brought my intake i have a vortex 747cfm fan cooling my 2k lights, Well the dehumidifier pulls air in and exhaust the air into the cubby space, I exhaust the air used to cool my lights into the ac wall as well so what happens is the heated air from the chiller and the dehumidifier mix with the really cold outside air and then i use a 120cfm bathroom fan to blow the cooled air back into the room ...

So basically the dehumidifier is pulling air in dumidifying and then blowing the hot dehumidified air into the ac wall area that dehumified air then mixes with the cold outside air brought in from the 747cfm fan and now instead of being hot air its a cool air Now i just put a 120-cfm bathroom fan inside the wall blowing that air back into the room! I never got the pictures of it to illustrate how its setup but i hope that makes since to you. Now that you mentioned this i wll get pics to show you what i mean....

And yes your are correct. Say i wasnt doing it like i am no vent fan pushing air back into my room i would be basically using my dehumidifier as a fan yes! And it would not be effective at dehumdifying the air in the room, Cause it would just be pulling the air from my room and pushing it behind the ac wall and wouldnt work to dehumidify the room! It does effect the co2 levels a little how i am doing it but it hasnt effected it enough to prevent it from being effecient still. I just woke up and im kinda not all here yet so if this doesnt make since well i will edit this post later
