Try squashing one in your hand gently if its soft and mushy most likely its toast. If its still hard try gently breaking it in your teeth just enough till your hear it break. Are they warm ?

Try a glass of distilled water, a warm spot and 36hours. But what do I know?

Warm is the key! Put them on top of the fridge or other high place.

I dont think its a good idea to squash a seed you are attempting to grow?? Some strains take much longer than others to germinate.

just put it into a pot of moist soil and put it on a radiator, not too hot tho...

you can get heat pads that will do the trick
the ones that you get in reptile cages
that way you can have constant warmth thru out the germination period
hey i might even get one lol
they key to germination is
damp but not too wet
complete darkness
and warmth
cheers all :)

i put on top of my cable box where it keeps it nice and warm.. i dont use a plate i just put the damp paper towels in a zip lock bag. then i put a shirt or something over it to keep heat in.

leave for 48 hours and you will be good to go
ive had 100% success with this method ... i used to put it in a cup of water but i didnt have nearly the success

Dont worry about bud, seeds can take anything from 24 hours to upto a week to germ.
Mine ave all been done from seed and shortest time was 6days.
