I was bored and di a search for online tests to see my Words Per Minute. I thought I'd share if you are in the same line of boredom I am. :D

I look at my fingers when I type. When I used to this in junior high, they would cover my hands with a sheet of paper to get me to look at the screen, well, lets see you put that paper over now! :D

Oh yeah I had one or two errors since I was stoned. I capitalized the first 2 letters by mistake instead of the first and I forgot 2 commas.

I'm stoned now and normally I type fine.

Around 60 WPM here. That's pretty sucky, unless you consider that I do it with just two fingers. I took typing in 5th grade, but pretty much forgot it all, then when I started writing software I became a two-fingered typist, but a really FAST two-fingered typist. It's probably harder to type that way too, because I have to know where each key is in 3D space, not so much in relation to each other.

The fastest typist I know is my oldest sister. She can hit 145 WPM, totally error-free, and won some Secretary of the Year contest where that was a factor. When she's typing, there's almost something spooky and unnatural about it -- it just doesn't seem like a human being should be able to DO that. She plays piano too, very well, although I don't think they really have anything to do with each other.
