I tried the planetskunk link but it craps out and takes you thru to a sum software site! I might try soma seeds as the old Rasta dude behind it has a nice little grow book out and he nutures by nature not by chems.
Hes produced a funky strain caled Somango (varient on Mango heads one presumes). I dont like these Ultra Skunk fucking things...they take the back of cranium off and leave me feeling too depressed and wasted...can you recommend an *UP* strain...so much of the good shite has been tainted with *indica* genetics which I dont really care for. I am particulary intersted in land race strains (i.e untainted by commercial pot demands and therefore not crossed with nasty Indicas) African, Colombian, Jamacia, even Australian...I believe Mullim Nadness was a Land race strain brought in by some stupid Hippy from Indonesia in the early 70s.

:D Try going to Planet Skunk direct instead of going thru a link....they also sell Soma seeds....Yes, Soma's Somango looks & sounds really nice but it is also a multiple hybrid....Jack Herer X with some Korean Skunk strain....A good Sativa that I can recommend is Durban....grows well in all conditions, reasonably short with dense, hard nugs & a sweet uplifting high. or maybe a Thai strain, if you can find 1. There is guy at ozstoners who is doing a Mullumbimby Madness X Pure Power Plant grow at the moment, looks good :thumbsup: I have not tried MM myself, but know older guys who have & they say it was the best weed they ever smoked....there must be some1 around Northern N.S.W who still has a pure strain of MM. :greenthumb: Good luck with your search man :hippy:

Respect for the reply; yes youve been reading my mind again, was thinking of a Durban Posion as from what I have seen they are such a weird and unique looking Sativa, with big broad leaves that dont shout Sativa heritage at all. I have been trawling the various posts here and have come across another likely goer: NL x Appolo 11 (via Joey Weed) sounds like what I am looking for in terms of high (strong focused up happy with little anxiety - found these details under a post by a fella called Tenancious B). I have had more than enough tokes of the old NL (a mate smokes it all the time) but I find its effects pretty bland. Mmm perhaps the Durban. So, on that note can you recommend a particular *strain* of DB as checking on the multitutde of seed banks they all seem to have there own sources. Its so fucking difficult to choose form one of these outfits, i have ordered on line 3 plus year go and was dissapointed - went through Mr Nice seeds and out of 10 only one germ and it was damned male!! SO I am hesitant to say they least.

A m8 of mine who lives in the Adelaide hills had a strain of Durban, but he didn't know 4 sure what it was until I seen it....{he hasn't got it anymore coz the last time he grew it his crop got ripped off & he didn't have any more seeds left!!}....it has a somewhat aniseed aroma & I knew what it was just by the aroma & overall stature of the plants. I have also read lots of good reports from Aussie growers about Alien GrowShop, they sell seeds from the world seed co. which specializes in landrace sativas. I personally am going to order a HAZE strain very soon, I'm sick of crap Indicas.... I WANNE BE HIGH....not couchlocked...LOL....I know what you mean about NL man, I've grown it & smoked way too much of it....So I'm going to take advantage of the X-mas mail rush & put in another order with PlanetSkunk:thumbsup:

Yes...too many folks wanna be stoned not HIGH! Unfortunate. I guess they arnt prepared to wait a bit longer for those moments and turn to the Darkside i.e Indicas!
Alien Grow shop is the most fucked up website I am yet to encounter. Bastard is recalcitrant and never wants to load...maybe the server is stoned!
I figure that the Xmas spurt with the mail will decrease the odds of a friendly sniffer dog intercepting my package. (if I was to order).
I found the World seeds page and it looks good. Some mob out there have a strain called Early Durban...as the name implies it prob has some Indica in it...which will probably make it like everything else out there...stoney.
The only way to stop a ripp off is to do it in the closet my friend.

Yer right, ladies are safer indoors. My m8 had been growing it outdoors there for 15 yrs. & never had any probs. Needless to say, he grows indoors now.:D Durban is by character an early finisher, I dunno why any1 would want to shorten it's flowering time:confused:
& ya, ...the AGS site is laggy as hell, must be off it's nut....:smokin:

Really sorry for late reply mate - bit behind the 8ball with the ole net connexshon these days. MAte i have done sweet FA about ordering - the problem is there is too much choice out there in seed land. I was checking out Nirvana seeds last night and they seem to have their act well and truely 2gther. I was gonna purchase some seeds from Mr Greenthumbs called *Big Laughlin* but the $100 plus $ tag put me off. Who the hell wants to fork out over a hungy for seeds! I have narrowed my choice down to Ak-48; but the shit will probably be OTT for such a light weight like me. Nirvana is selling it for less than $35 buck for 10 seeds. They have some nice shite there and their sight is really user friendly. I think I got me knuckles rapped by the moderators of this fair site for mentioning *possbile* seed slangers in OZ. Chill baby chill...

Mate a new attempt as the last shit i had went a bit fucking troppo - some wild bush weed shit that ended up in a cookie mix as it was getting a bit outrageous on my windowsill! Pics of new batch are at 12 days old; given the fuck off growth rate, leaf shape and the dank stink I reckon I might have a bit of Skunk of my hands, but who knows. The stuff really stinks though and Ive never experienced that in 12 day old seedlings. Ive already toped it at the 4th internode and shes (hopefully) responding well. These maybe F1s as the smaller one has a really Sativa look to it. Seeds care of a mate from the Blkue Mountains west of Sydney.

Look 4ward to cing sum pics of yr new closet grow. Ive got a 150 watt HPS which I wanna out to similar use.

Yo DJ :hippy: LOL, ya man....there is sooo much choice, it took us 2 weeks of lists & debates to finally come up with 1....now I want more....I think I have got the seed collecting bug....LOL....yer plants look good :thumbsup: but I think they need to go outside or under that light you got there IMO....my lil' closet prolly won't be running until after x-mas....got a house inspection tomorrow, gotta hide the 4 WS in our closets (!!) & the PP seedlings will prolly be stashed in the shed somewhere for a couple of hours....ffs....so you got a warning from the mods here ?? & for what ??

Yeash they could do with a bit more spectrum - i have them on the sill days and under a 1 foot fluro at night for a few hours. The Stativa looking one is nice - when I topped it a bit of the meristem remained and now I have the 2 new lateral shoots and the main one so three all in total!
As for choice: I feel that all this shit they are selling is really just the same; any fuckhead can work out that anything on a seed bank pretty much is derived form Skunk 1 which is a three way x between Colombian, Mexican and some form of Indica (Kush) Skunk is what the Hippy travellers developed after collecting all these seeds on the Hippy trail - mixed it all up and came up with something balanced. Who is to say it is any better than the stuff they smuggled back in their backpacks in the 70s? skunk is a shite, sweat inducing paranoia of a toke in my opinion (if anyone disagrees they can fuck off). Where can I get me some Jamaican? Problem is I aint Bob Marley and the neighbours would spot it growin over me fence!

LMAO....soz man, the only Jamaican that I know of that is commercially available is Marley's Collie from Sensi Seeds....other than actually going to Jamaica & meeting some growers....:rastasmoke: lots of ways to keep tall sativa ladies down out of sight m8....I've been tying plants down 4 many years now,(long before it was called LST....)....grown some trellised against a fence as well, with 4 main branches about 5 feet long & 1 foot buds all the way along those branches.... :greenthumb: so, you can't put yours outside ?? they would like some bigger pots as well as a bit of a feed....as for the rep. points, I've given you a couple I think....the way it works, you gotta spread it around before you can give it to the same person again....who knows, maybe some1 out there likes you....LOL :stoned: ya man....lotsa seppos....good thing they don't know what we're on about when we call them seppos....LMAO....I tend to hang with the Aussie/English growers here mostly, I'm not a spammer like a lot of ppl here....but if some1 asks me about woteva I'll answer as honestly & quickly as possible with woteva info I know of or have on that particular subject....I don't mind helping out other growers :greenthumb:

Usually Durban finishes in around 8 - 9 weeks....it depends on a lot of things....some Durbans have been hybridized to make them finish earlier....did you grow yours from seed ?? if so, where did you get the seed from ?? was it a reputable seed bank ?? or did you score some cuttings ?? if so, do you know anything about them ?? outdoors it will usually take an extra week or so to finish than indoors....do you know how to check trich's for ripeness ?? that is the key to the type of high your weed produces....look around here, I've seen a couple of trichome charts that show you when to harvest. :greenthumb: good luck with your grow, dude.

I got my seeds from a bag of durban poison i got a while back. i wouldn't know what seedbank it came from. I liked the uppity high i get from it and the sweet anise scent she puts off, so i'm pretty excited to start growing this. They're indoor in veg for almost 4wks. my pride lays in the lovely wonderberry. Her narcotic high is one of my favorites of all time.
I've read a lot before i even attempted growing, so i'll pull em a little early to maintain that sativa kick. i remember seeing a trichome chart, so i'll checking that in a few months.
