New to the game, just got some clones they are under a 1000watt HID right now. Have noticed they are growing a bit slowly, and I just got my pH up and pH down today, so I figured I would give it a test. Turns out their first two waterings were with water that the pH was def. alot higher than it should have been. Now that I have the pH tester, I can make it just about right. It's one of those cheap ones that the liquid changes colors, but it's better than nothing. My questions
a.) Was the slow growth due to high pH water?
b.) Should I flush these plants now or no? I watered them this morning with less than a 1/3 of a cup of water (figured my pH was off) or just water them with the correct water when they need more water in a day or so? These suckers seem to be drying up pretty quickly...
c.) How much water should these suckers get? They are between 3-5.5 inches. Thanks!

What size pots? If they were under very little light it may have slowed growth. PH is not extremely important in the clone stage, but nun the less it does play a factor. I would wait until next watering and PH at about 6.5 for a nice stable uptake of any needed nutes which it shouldn't need much of at this point if any. That is why PH is not as important right now, Ph is what helps to regulate and maintane the level and ability of the plant to uptake needed nutes. Also, I have these mesuring cups from the garden store that measure in TSP's and I would probably be giving about 12 to 15 TSP's of water a day in my set up, but I use alot of perlite and water drains quick and this would be in little 3x3 or so starter pots.
Also I am a misting fanatic. I mist my rooted clones about 4 to 5 times a day, some only do it twice, but I think I am a misting attict. Just get a spray bottel and go to town with some PH'd water and maybe add a little Liquid Karma, I use Super Thrive and Liquid Karma. If you do this, start off twice a day and see how they react. I have really low humitity in my state this time a year so they eat it up, and don't mist during flower once buds appear unless you really know what you are doing because your buds can get mold on them.

They are in red solo cups for the time being. Will be transplanted into starter pots when I get the other clones. They are in soil right now, so I think they are getting all the nutes they need, as they are very young. I am personally going to grow with Sunshine #4, so I am thinking once I get the other batch of clones they will all be transplanted into Sunshine. At that point maybe I will start misting and put a little nutes in the spray bottle. Thanks for the information

was up razz you said you were useing a 1000 watt hid and that your clones were young they might do alot better under some cfl's for a while until they mature a little
thats a strong light for those little clones

Yeah, don't have any fluros. I have the light over three feet away from the clones, I think they should be fine. They seem to be doing okay anyhow, any other opinions about this as I am getting the other thirty five clones tonight?
The clones I have been getting are already rooted, seem a week or two old when I get em by the way
