Im not sure if it has a cd-rw drive because i want to put some music onto CD's

is there anyway i can check?

What does it say on the actual drive? Does it say Compact Disc? Or does it say Compact Disc with Recordable below it?

Or go into my computer in windows. Under your cd drive, what does it say?

it says DISC rewritable lol im not sure if means it can rewrite them or just play them :s im crap with this stuff and i need another joint

Make it 2 joints.... and everything will be fine......



go to Mediaplayer and try.....try a couple diff disks... some times i get bad disks

im a computer repair tech and actually own my own busness (which some of you dont know)

and how you can tell is to go into your device manager.... (and im assuming you have windows XP home edition)
you will see a screen like the one im posting... it will list the hardware by name (ie. cd-rom,cd-rw,dvd/cd-rw16x etc.)

just click the (+) under cd/dvd drives and it will tell you
(but the pic is from a winxpsp2 platform, yours may be different)

lol sorry let me explain

go to your control panel, then select "system" when that screen pops up
then go to the hardware tab, there will be a button that says "device manager"

and emo, i try not to explain to much... sometimes that makes people feel stupid, i try not to do that

i had a customer walk out over that one day..... then i felt like the jackass for underestimating them
